This thread is nothing new for me. If you'd ever been in this forum at playoff time before, you'd already know that. But while it's fine to mock my whining, don't pretend like my points aren't exactly correct when you can't even pretend to address them.

As the loser of the match you should be forced to play devil's advocate and produce stats that support the opposite side of your argument. We will then flip a coin to see which side is right.

It really doesn't matter who you think is the better team or that you would beat a team 4 out of every 5 times, it only matters what happens that game.It stinks when you spend so much time building players and you have what you think are great builds and then you lose the game to (in your mind) an inferior team, but after all it is just a game and winning or losing doesn't make you any more or less of a person. I'm sure we have all beaten teams we thought were better than us too.

jdbolick, I get that it's frustrating to lose, especially when you think it was weird random shit that caused the loss, and it's fine to bitch and whine on your team forum but to do so publicly makes you look like a baby.

You see weird plays and losses in the NFL every week, but you don't hear the head coaches (except maybe Dennis Green) losing their shit publicly. They just talk about a tough loss and move on. It's about reputation.

I'm new to this forum (mostly because I can't work enough interest to bother with the public GLB forums most of the time) but if you do this often, I'm surprised people even respond to you anymore.

While I agree that a game consists of many plays that could effectively change the outcome, the other team can adjust to those plays if they happen earlier on. If this (assuming mistake) play hadn't occurred and the play goes incomplete, GBB wins the game. They could have sucked off more time off the clock and at lest kicked a FG forcing CH to have to drive the field for a TD at best with little time remaining. A first down would effectively run out the clock.

While I can understand JD's frustration, shit happens. I will take the lucky over good every time if it was me. That being said. GBB could not stop a TD there. CH still had to go down the field. Then instead of at least holding them to a game tying FG, they gave up a TD. This puts them ahead in final two mins which give CH a HUGE morale boost while destroying GBB morale. Suddenly this morale difference rears its head as the returner's stats were affected and the gunner were maxed causing the FR TD.

Like Wise said, it would have been tough to drive the field for a TD there--esp with the morale difference, but heck CH just did it. I am not buying the 2 score difference. Game was closer than that. Even 31-27 and Ch kneel down, the game would ahve been the same. Same if GBB went down and scored a late TD and made it 38-34.

JD knows this game. He shouldn't be shocked about anything. Yeah I wouldn't be happy about that one play, but that's it. Obviously CH has a good team or they wouldn't have been in the position to make the plays before and after that freak play to win the game.

With the sky high expecations this thread had, I'm inpressed by how much it delivers.

Very well put, and it's that much harder to be gentlemanly about a hard luck defeat when Wise immediately comes on and starts talking shit as if his brilliance was responsible for the win.

I said before the game (if you had any reading comprehension) that if we won it means our D and STs had great games (which they did) and our O performs respectable (which it did). Only the voices in your head say I am taking full credit for this win myself with my offense. T2 and stizz did a fanstastic job, and we have a bunch of awesome dots here that led to the victory over your scrub self.
