I thought the whole point of Elite leagues was to have the best competition. Stuff like this make me appreciate the RLU even more.

I can promise nothing is sure when it comes to winning championships. There's a few solid teams in their conference.

Yeah, going 15-1 in a non-competitive league doesn't mean you will post a winning record in Elite (which 8-Bit did last season).

The teams are ok in #3 and anything can happen in playoff games, but I'd put 8-Bit as an early favorite for Gold there.
I'd rather they were in Elite to continue the rivalry.

Looks like recruiting is pretty much done and the teams are where they are now. There are a few teams on each side that have no shot at the playoffs, but from there it's still a battle. The interesting thing to see what happens this season is going to be watching who boosts when. I figure you've got three groups of playoff contenders...


Boost at the Start of the Season
This group will boost early, if they're smart Day 0. They are hoping that they can rack up enough wins to lock up their playoff spot early and hope that the teams that boost late miss the playoffs.


Boost to Reach Level 48
This group is going to wait a few days into the season to boost so they can have some training gains, but then boost to Level 48 so they can get the equipment upgrades. From there they are hoping to compete with the above group and knock out the teams that are still waiting to boost.


Boost at the Start of the Playoffs
This group is trying to take advantage of training gains throughout the season and then boost before the playoffs start so they're on equal grounds as the other two groups. They will have to win some tough games along the way to stay in the playoff hunt, but they will be the most dangerous group come playoff time.




So the question really is, what group are you?

We will boost the night before the Chiefs game!!

I just ran a few players through the builder and it's actually the SP gain vs the Training gain from what I saw, but they were too huge to pass up; so we're going to have to wait to boost for the playoffs. I just hope we don't rack up too many losses along the way.
