That one doesn't really work, to easy to replay to a comment with a fact like, I only play one dot at a time or I have only played the game 3 seasons or maybe, most of my dots are farm dots. Or something along those lines. I'm sure those who are always coming up with excuses could provide a mess or them for you.

LOL, grammar nerds remind me of when I was a kid back in the late 60s. Did most of my schooling in the southern U.S. and most of that in either Texas or Georgia. When my father retired from the Military we moved to Illinois. First day in English class the Teacher calls on me to diagram a sentence. First thought through my mind was, "what, why does she want me to draw a sentence". I was stumped, had no idea what to do or say. Boy did she get mad at me, thought I was being obstinate.

That is phrased as a question therefor it requires the proper punctuation which in this case would be a question mark (?)

I'm a grammar nerd, and I STILL don't get the point of diagramming a sentence. I never learned anything from it, and it just seemed to confuse the fuck out of everyone else in the class without actually teaching them a damn thing about grammar.

I think it was just some English professor's way of making grammar seem more precise, like math or science or something. Or more likely, it was some bored English professor's idea of a practical joke, and it just got out of their control.

Probably comes in handy for linguistic anthropologists.

Overall though, it's like a lot of what school does, worthless. Really, why do we need to know the year Columbus founded America or any of that other crap.
