Helluva game, Alpine! We took you quite seriously. Turns out we needed to.
It was a great game and in the end I felt you deserved the win. Well done.

Nope, serious. Like I said up above, it took everything we had just to edge out Alpine by 5. No sarcasm here.
We can't afford to be sarcastic. We're newcomers here, and we really haven't proved anything yet other than that we're capable of scraping together 2 wins. And even though it's just LOLregular season, we can't afford to take any games off. We're gonna need every win we can get.
Alpine's legit. I feel fortunate we were able to get the win. Sim that game 10 times, and I'm not sure we'd win more than 2 or 3, to be honest.
...
To be clear, there's others on Laos who are a bit more... shall we say "brash"... than I am. They don't speak for me, and I don't speak for them, so don't get me confused with them. And while it's fun to play the "underdog" card and the "no respect" card when we arrive in World League to predictions that we're only going to win 3 games, my own prediction really isn't much higher... maybe 6 wins.
Still might turn out that way. Teams I run the offense for have a history of starting out hot, but then cooling off later in the season as our opponents start to figure out what I'm doing and how to stop it, and I have no doubt that's going to happen even faster here in World League.
...
Sorry for the wall-of-text, but I just wanted to make it clear I wasn't being sarcastic or back-handed, since it seems like multiple people are wondering about that. Believe me, when I actually do take a shot at someone, there won't be any doubt.
It's not about winning or losing, but can you win or lose like a man?

No, that was Penn State's "Leave no child's behind" policy

Its about time my offense finally started to looked like i wanted. i wasted enough flex on scrims trying to figure it our for the past few days. glad we got the win to make up for that ugly loss from last season....
