GG Somewhat Competitive Minors Gold!

Looks like the Eastern Conference playoffs are pretty much set 1 thru 6. TLS could get the top seed if Mayan loses to Quebec, but that seems pretty unlikely. Win or lose, TLS has locked in at least the 2nd seed by virtue of wins over SCMC and NSW. SCMC has a gimme game, so NSW can't really surpass them for the 3rd seed. NSW beat Italian, so we are locked into the 4th seed win or lose. Italian has a 2 game lead on HM, so they are locked into the 5th seed. HM also has a 2 game lead over Wisconson, giving them the 6th seed.

The battle for 7/8 could be interesting tho, as Wisconsin (currently 7th and 8-7) plays Saskatoon (currently 10th and 7-8). If Saskatoon beats Wisconsin, they will still need some help, as they lost to the other two teams at 7-8. Thus, they would need at least one of them to lose. Both are favored to lose tho, meaning that the Wisconsin / Saskatoon game is likely a play-in game for Saskatoon....win and they are in. If Wisconsin wins, then Monegros is likely to retain the 8th spot whether they win or lose. If they lose, they would need Quebec to also lose tho, so they are not a lock even with a Saskatoon loss. Quebec needs to win and for Wisconsin to win to have shot at the 8 seed.

Pretty sure Mayan won't like NSW at 4th spot since they gave them their only loss in the reg. season. So if the top seeds win in the 1st round they will face off in round 2.
