There is nothing wrong with that IMO. Sugar coating something for the sake of sparing someones feelings - especially when speaking to grown men (98% of the users here are adult males)... Is lame.

Bragging every ssn about having the best team/recruiting class in GLB isn't going to win you a ton of friends
Being a center piece in damn near every semi recent major GLB cheating issue may make some resent you

The list could go on, but imho it's stuff like the linked thread that makes so many seem to enjoy pointing out his failures. When one is so damn quick and seemingly joyful to point out the failures of others, is that really surprising? Personally, I really thought he was going to win it all this ssn. I'm rather surprised he didn't (NOT a knock against HHWC or Moose Jaw in the least).

Nah, I'm done anyway. It just confused me why all the Dp bashing/threads would come as a surprise to anyone or that they'd paint it off as jealousy. Hell, if it had anything to do with jealousy, it'd be ufshowboat and alloy before him that'd be getting shit, not Dp.

I do believe they are upfront and honest. There is no reason for them to charade around hoping to some day be a Mod/Bug/Q&A or whatever flavor of the week job that GLB announces. It's pretty simple... They are on the game enjoying GLB, building solid dots, and many times when they post, are in good fun or lulz.

PP's example thread of Dpride, is a perfect example of that. Stirring debate, and causing users to get stirred up. The thing is he is laughing all the way as people grab their pitch forks and torches.

You think this game / forums would be remotely as fun if everyone loved each other and gave buttpats all around and were good mannered?

Oh, hell no. I've said many times that Dp is good for the game, and that's one of the primary reasons. The game needs ppl like him and becomes much less fun when he vanishes or is banned. I've said that many times...That has nothing to do with what I was talking about, though
