Skip it. My two favorite places around there are both on sullivan's island. Poe's is a great place to have a burger and throw back a couple beers and atlanticville is a great dinner spot if you don't mind dropping a little coin

Chicken and Waffles at 900 Grayson in Berkeley (get the cream gravy). It's called the "Demon Lover" on the menu, and it will ruin you for life.

You're definitely a trailer park kind of food lover, I like to stick to the shit I know is fantastic, or pizza/buffalo wings/Hamburgers if I am unsure, and what the hell are you doing at a truck stop? I mean really? Only thing at those places are 55 yr old prostitutes and "chicken fried steak" and I want nothing to do with either of those things
