It was a pretty significant merger. If included, it should have an asterisk.

It would be like if the Prophecy folded up shop, and gave our team name to some other network -- letting them start with 60 wins. Needs more than * imo

I also think there should be a second list with WL wins per season.

I would keep MoD and Drinkin separate...
clarification: MoD was definitely a super-team of mixed dots from different teams

It's too bad TKW was our primary team for the first few seasons. Going to be a while before we catch Hali, but it will happen.

Whatever happened to the Wife Carrier people? I wasn't familiar with them at the time so I don't really know what happened, but it seemed like HHW just absorbed them and displayed an act of kindness by taking on a part of their name.... no more than that

So did HurricaneWarriors own HHW before the merge? All I know is datong, HWs, and Animalmother were the big 3 for them

It is probably the big 5 since evesong and lingling are wangs too.. but yes HW used to own HHW.

Uf was HHW before it was decided that we should focus on one team... just not as much as he is now It is a long story.....

Teams that weren't good enough to be in WL shouldn't receive a handicap.

no ownership change (Stobie was still the owner and ran things)...just took the best dots off of D-League Dream Team and Doinitin Djibouti. There were still a few Drinkin dots left as well. No different than 90% of the other WL teams out there

Agreed, especially no different then teams that have farm systems built specifically for promoting players.

I think it's a bit different than hali absorbing like 4-5 guys from a gutting team or a farm team that was built specifically for the parent team. Hali never lost their identity and neither did other teams who just bring up a few farm guys every season. Was probably the first real "merger" in GLB considering the team was mostly DD/DLDT

Not that it matters in terms of counting for the win total since it's the same team id# but i defintiely think it's different than what other WL teams do (with the exception of the smurfs or something)

Kwan pretty much said it all. Me and Kwan ran the WifeCarriers for 10 seasons with mostly the same agents and players. Our 1st season in the WL as the Estonian Wife Carriers was also the first season of decline for our core group.

I had wangs on our team and I had my guys on both wang teams for a long time. Me and datongw fell in lust. After that season of running 3 WL teams between all of the guys, we said fuck this and concentrated on one instead of all rage quitting because the game was consuming our lives.

The core players from EWC and TKW were pretty much ready to retire so there wasn't much merging of players. But I guess we did combine our young dots coming up. But I'd say it was more of a combination of management than players. Me, Dat, and Kwan have run the show now for a while. It's so much better sharing time and responsibility. Made this game fun again. The golds helped too.
