Thanks to those that have prayed and are still praying. My dad is still home and living normally day to day. He will have a hearth catheter (sp) on the 20th where they'll go in with a camera to try and see what's happening I guess. All the test keep coming back negative for blockage which is positive for us. Thanks again to all of you. God is great!

Sorry for the late update been a busy past couple of days plus i was struggling to get on the site or just stay on because of errors and such so i just gave up, anyways got some good news and bad news

good news is that hes awake, which is awesome but the bad news is hes lost alot of his memory but the docs say it happens with 40% of patients that have comas but its not permanent he should get his memory back within 1-2 weeks day by day if hes around the people he knows or things he used to love then it will trigger things off but i have to say when your own brother for 20 years doesnt know who you are its quite a depressing and sureal time but im off now to go get some things that will hopefully help him remember (old pics, school stuff, guitar, football)

at some time ill have to give him my phone so he can go on here and hopefully that should trigger stuff to, as hes been playing this for about 2 years now i rekon, so i think it makes sense

just want to say thanks to everyone seriously, im not a very religious person but im sure everyones prayers were answered here and i cant thank you guys enough!

Hope your brother is still recovering and making progress....I played on his team for 2 seasons before the poop hit the fan. Has he made any sort of connection with any of his memory??.....continued thoughts for you and your family.

hey man yeah sorry i havnt really kept anyone informed, hes pretty much recovered mentally just hes recovering physically now, he can barely move so he just lies there sleeping, docs come every week to check his progress and are still unsure how long he will take to start walking and so on but they said he can move back home soon which is awesome as hospital really make me feel depressed so ill be glad to get him and me out of there and hopefully get some smiles on all of our faces again!

i dont think he will be back on here for a while still, next season maybe but even then im not sure

I am glad your brother is out of his coma and recovering. I do not know you or your brother but I imagined what it would be like b/c I too have 1 brother and he is in fact my best friend. Thus, I tried to put myself in your shoes and I felt damaged but then again I read your news about your brother being awake and I must say that is great news. I see that you really love your brother and would do ANYTHING for him. Best of luck to your and your brother. May God be with him. My prayers and thoughts go out to your brother.
