Week 14 Lion Rankings
1 Sterling Bulldawgs (14-0) - Easy win keeps the streak alive. Next week they face off against the former #1 seed, LHC. It should be a great game and no doubt Sterling wants to win it and finish undefeated. A loss could really muddy up the top 3 seeds.
Next up: LHC

2 West Yorkshire Bandits (13-1) - Coasting the rest of the season. They'll be very interested in seeing who wins the Sterling/LHC game.
Next up: Stockholm

3 LHC Naked Turtles (13-1) - Big game coming up with Sterling. Neither team wants to lose this one but, come on LHC, do you guys really want to make a mess of the playoff seeding by winning
Next up: Sterling

4 Nigeria Nightmares (11-3) - Easy win this week for the Nightmares. If they get by Cambridge they'll have the 4 seed locked up.
Next up: Cambridge

5 Kalahari Night Riders (10-4) - One last test for Kalahari coming up after the spanking they handed out this week.
Next up: Rapid City

6 Rapid City Sioux (10-4) - A shot to move up in the rankings a little this week as they gear up for Kalahari.
Next up: Kalahari

7 Cambridge Chieftains (9-5) - Even if they get the upset win against Nigeria next week they won't have anywhere to go in the seeding since they already lost to Kalahari and Rapid City.
Next up: Nigeria

8 Colonial Zoners (8-6) - Should finish up 9-7 which is good enough for the 8th seed. They don't really have a shot at advancing past the 1st round though. They've lost to every single playoff team so far and didn't put up a fight when facing 2 of the current top 3 seeds. They'll have to go against one of the top 3 again making their playoff entrance short.

9 Botswana Bone Breakers (6-8) - Maybe 1 win left this season.
Next up: Morocco

10 Ghana Rhea (7-7) - Don't see another win coming this season.
Next up: Colonial

11 Morocco Snake Charmers (5-9) - That was probably their last win of the season.
Next up: Botswana

12 Denver Assassins (3-11) - Another loss.
Next up: Port Harcourt

13 Carson City Cadillacs (2-12) - Back to losing.
Next up: Phoenix City

14 Stockholm Polarbears (1-13) - Another loss.

15 Phoenix City Warriors (1-13) - Another loss.

Week 14 Elephant Rankings
1 Zimbabwe Rebels (14-0) - Coasting for the rest of the season.
Next up: Cape Town

2 Blacc's Bastards (12-2) - Blacc's have been on a roll and the win over MMM cemented their #2 status.
Next up: Somalia

3 Covington Black Knights (10-4) - Coasting the rest of the season.
Next up: Mario

4 Mayotte Metal Militia (10-4) - MMMs latest loss has cost them a home playoff game. They have a shot at reclaiming a home playoff game if they win out and Somalia loses to Blacc's.
Next up: Toro

5 San Antonio Venom (10-4) - San Antonio's got an outside shot at a home playoff spot too so there's still much to be decided before the season ends. If they can win the last 2 games that would give them tiebreakers against MMM and Somalia.
Next up: Nile Valley

6 Somalia Warlords (11-3) - Impressive victory over Barcelona but it only takes them so far in my rankings for this week. Win next week and that will be a wake up to the other playoff teams.
Next up: Blacc's

7 Barcelona Blaze (9-5) - After bouncing back against MMM the Blaze fall hard to Somalia. They can coast to 11-5 from here though.
Next up: Mogadishu

8 Warri Delta Warriors (7-7) - Solid win over Nile sets up an interesting game this week. Who would have though 6 weeks ago that Alexandria would be making a push for a playoff spot with the season coming to a close. Warri's fate rests in their own hands now.
Next up: Alexandria

9 Alexandria Barbarians (7-7) - Big win for the Barbarians. They've strung together 4 in a row to set themselves up for a playoff spot. Now they have to capitalize on it. With Warri & Nile Valley left they can't lose a single game.

10 Cape Town Great Whites (5-9) - Big loss to Alexandria. They'll split the rest of the season for a 6-10 record.
Next up: Zimbabwe

11 Mario Maniacs (6-8) - No more winning left here.
Next up: Covington

12 Nile Valley Vipers (5-9) - Another loss.
Next up: San Antonio

13 Mogadishu Juggernaut (3-11) - Back to losing.

Rapid City vs Kalahari
Another good game this week. A win here gives that team a slightly easier 1st round playoff game so there's a lot at stake. Both teams have played good ball all season long and they're pretty equal so this should be a close one.

The Chieftains are too young to pose a threat.

Somalia vs Blacc's
The Bastards have proven their mettle the last few weeks and should continue their streak here. They've beaten all but the current undefeated teams. Somalia has been impressive too but the losses against MMM & SAV give Blacc's the nod.

Warri vs Alexandria
Big game for these two teams. Winner gets the 8th seed regardless of next week's games so Warri needs to take this game if they want to make the playoffs. Warri has just about every edge in this one. lolbars, depth, etc. Their defense has given up fewer points all season. This looks to be the week that Alexandria's Cinderella story ends.

Gonna give my LB Hed Banger the game ball on this one. Big ....big ..... forced fumble. Without it, coulda gone either way.

Also. Went for it 3 times in our own territory ?? I know that Ai was last second but holy crap I bout had a heart attack.

You live all season for games like that. Great game Bulldawg's. Win or lose (of course winning is better) it was a classic. Damn, changed of OA1 completely for that game and forgot about the 4th down thingy. We lucked out. That return in the 4th for 6 had me freaked I was screaming at the computer. Bugman knew we had won earlier in the day at work and I wouldn't let him tell me. See you again I hope.

Week 15 Lion Rankings
1 West Yorkshire Bandits (14-1) - I'm not in total agreement with the way GLB has set up the seeds. This is my #1 since they did beat LHC just a few short weeks ago and IMO they should be #1 seed but it is what it is.
Next up: Morocco

2 LHC Naked Turtles (14-1) - A solid win that lands them the #1 seed again (2nd in my rankings as explained above). Winning the turnover battle really set the tone for the game and the Turtles have to be the favorites heading into the playoffs since they have the easier road.
Next up: Colonial

3 Sterling Bulldawgs (14-1) - Close loss to LHC drops the Bulldawgs to #3 in the rankings. The seedings are pretty much set with most teams having easy games in the last week.
Next up: Carson City

4 Nigeria Nightmares (12-3) - Dominated Cambridge. Looking sharp in time for the playoffs.
Next up: Port Harcourt

5 Kalahari Night Riders (11-4) - Took a big halftime lead that slowly dwindled away until they put the game away in the 4th. Sets up a nice rematch with the Nightmares from week 2.
Next up: Denver

6 Rapid City Sioux (10-5) - Tough loss to Kalahari. Looking like a tough 1st round draw for them too.
Next up: Ghana

7 Cambridge Chieftains (9-6) - Big loss to Nigeria. Should take easy win in week 16 but hard to see them passing 1st round of playoffs.

While that is a true statement you have to give them credit for making the playoffs but they're now stuck facing the #1 seed this week and then again in the 1st round.
