I don't care who the favorite is, I still ain't picking my team to lose. *on knees praying*

I won't hold that against you since I would do the same thing in your shoes. Good luck by the way (you're going to need it).

Dublin Boghoppers over Brussels Massacre

This game is a game that was close to a draw as I see it, but I am going with the Boghoppers here because they allow less points on defense than the Massacre and the Boghoppers held the Munkeys to fewer points. Both are riding win streaks of 4 or more and should provide a great game here.

game of the week

Man that's a heart breaker, we actually had the lead at halftime and tied going into the 4th quarter, ficking INT anyway!! Great game and a shitload better than I thought it'd be.

That sucked too because the WR was wide open too. It was just a bad throw by the QB (which is my QB BTW...LOL). He was having a good game too and then he did that. Ha Ha. He will be running laps the next few days.

Anyway, it was a lot closer than I expected. We were outmatched at pretty much EVERY position and we still hung in there. Our game plan was good but we just couldn't get past the difference in skill levels.

Week 9 Predictions:

Drunken Munkeys over Athens NighthawksW

The Munkeys defense seems to be losing some steam lately, or the rest of the leagues offense's are catching them, but they have allowed double digit scores the last 3 games. Anyway, the offense is still clicking and with a 343 yard passing performance in their last win against a very stout defense proves they ain't slowing down for anyone. The Nighthawks offense seems to be out of rhythm lately, only scoring 12 in the last 2 games, both losses. This team is on the rise, and full of league leaders but can't seem to gather everyone on the same page in the same game, which they will have to do here to have a chance.

Amsterdam Smokers over Coventry TerrorW

The Smokers are reeling over the stunning loss last week but should regroup and rebound in this game as their offense clearly overpower the opposing defense. The Terror are starting to come around and play to there potential and the offense looks decent but the defense, while getting better just isn't quite up to the offense of this opponent.

Dublin Boghoppers over Brussels MassacreW

This game is a game that was close to a draw as I see it, but I am going with the Boghoppers here because they allow less points on defense than the Massacre and the Boghoppers held the Munkeys to fewer points. Both are riding win streaks of 4 or more and should provide a great game here.

Dayton <-FnA-> over Glasgow DoomL

I don't care who the favorite is, I still ain't picking my team to lose. *on knees praying*

Amsterdam Red Lights over Iceland Dream TeamL

I really wish IDT would've capitalized Team so I didn't have to change it every other day, lol. Back to the game, ARL is riding a win streak against weaker opponents but their loses where close to the top guys. Their rushing attack seems to be picking up steam here of late and should do OK against this average rushing defense. IDT is riding on the wrong side of the tracks kind of streak and it looks to continue here, they should be able to move the ball and score a few points but I don't think they can stop ARL and their offense.

Maniac Shadows over Arlington AvalancheW

Both teams are 'through the air' type of team and only rush when they have too. Although both teams have a good passing attack, the Shadows defend it better. This will be an aerial show with the Shadows coming out on top as the Avalanche own the 2nd worst pass defense in the conference.

Oslo Norsemen over Barcelona AdmiralsW

The Norsemen are pumped with the upset of the year last week and with good game planning and high chemistry they could pull out some more this year. The BCS computer has them as the underdog here but I don't think so. The Admirals have lost some heartbreakers and it might continue here. They could stay with them if its a low scoring game but in the end they might come up short.

Syracuse Slashers over Burnt Orange RisingW

Somebodies got to win, I just flipped a coin and it said the Slashers. The loser of this game is in real danger of not winning one all year and being regulated to the D-Leagues.

Amsterdam Red Lights vs. Iceland Dream team 20-23
Oslo Norsemen vs. Barcelona Admirals 32-13
Athens Nighthawks vs. Drunken Munkeys 20-27
Brussels Massacre vs. Dublin Boghoppers 0-30
Arlington Avalanche vs. Maniac Shadows 17-24
Coventry Terror vs. Amsterdam Smokers 3-17
Glasgow Doom vs. Dayton <-FnA-> 23-13
Syracuse Slashers vs. Burnt Orange Rising 34-6

6-2 this week, lots of close games and hard to call, you never know when an owner or coordinators don't do the due diligence, lol

Week 10 Predictions:

Dayton <-FnA-> over Drunken Munkeys

The only time this year the Munkeys are going to be the underdog.

Amsterdam Smokers over Glasgow Doom

This is about as even as they get this week, I'll go with the gut feeling that the Smokers eek out a win here.

Dublin Boghoppers over Amsterdam Red Lights

The Boghoppers are one of the hottest teams in the league, riding a 6 game winning streak mostly on a great defense. The Red Lights have been a little inconsistent this year but could pull it out if they hit a upswing in planning.

Athens Nighthawks over Brussels Massacre

This is a tale of running vs passing, the Nighthawks run, run and run some more while the Massacre pass, pass and pass some more. This game should be fun to watch the as both teams have top defenses. Nighthawks by a touchdown or less, if there are any touchdowns in this game.

Iceland Dream Team over Syracuse Slashers

IDT is on a new streak, a good one this time, and should continue here. The Slashers offense seems to be starting to click, but the defense is lacking the league.

Oslo Norsemen over Maniac Shadows

The Norsemen are hitting a stride lately and should continue the trend here with a balanced attack against this average defense. The Shadows have beat the people they should and lost to the ones they should have, an average team here and if they can stay together, their building for next season.

Arlington Avalanche over Burnt Orange Rising

The Avalanche just needs to control the ball and they should win easily. BOR needs to give their defense a rest and find some offense.

Coventry Terror over Barcelona Admirals

The Terror are starting to put it together, maybe to late this season but could run next season. The Admirals have beat cupcakes, and the Terror aren't a cupcake team. Could be a good game.

Thoughts?
