I think the law of averages still would have worked in our favor...that vaunted rushing attack of the smokers averaged 2 ypc...the cheetahs averaged 4.1. I think the odds are that we'd move the ball more effectively and consistently.

I think that stat is meaningless...if you notice, it was mostly the top teams of one conference going against the bottom teams of the other conference. the only somewhat meangingful game was the cheetahs and smokers and that game was pretty close. if we had our #1s face off against each other, #2s face, etc...then that stat might be meaningful.
