This is half true. We needed a 5th de. Valhalla had our 3 choices for backup rde as their de's. So yes and no. Also Blaze wants is different than blaze makes

Yah -- Valhalla was going to be pretty nasty.

Something tells me you guys don't know what pretty nasty is. If they would be that good, alloy wouldn't of folded after all the work to recruit etc, would he?

I think you're pretty wrong here.....

blln is totally wrong. Getting their ass handed to them by Valhalla...again...seems to have made him bitter.

For the record, the greatest of the great go out on top...sad to see someone would call that quitting.

Ok as a Lions Fan I'll give you Sanders as a "greatest of the great" going out on top BUT did you happen to see

Rice as a Seahawk
Montana as a Chief
Ronnie Lott as a Jet
Franco Harris as a Seahawk
and a ton of others

We could list many that went out on top and many that didn't. The final stages of the careers mentioned, and as you pointed out there are many more, only soured the legacy of their career's. Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, John Elway....all left their teams and fans wanting more, which only added to their legacy.

Alloy reached a pinnacle that possibly no other person has reached in GLB, which is impressive. And what's more...he went out on top!
