Wow, great game vs the Paladins. They picked off our first 2 passes and had us until the 4th quarter.

Massive weak in Alpha with Frankfurt confirming they are the best of this group right now. Expected them to beat the Mutineers but did expect it to be a fair amount closer.

Interesting games elsewhere with a whole bunch of teams playing opponents on a similar level - the season is beginning to get into shape now.

Nice game by the Spanierd Warriors you guys were a higher level and made plays when it mattered. Good game

Hey we didnt get blown out! Nice game Buffalo. We actually hung with you guys for the first 3/4s of the game and then you just put us away with 2 quick back-to-back scores.

While Im starting to get sick of losing, this game gives me hope that we will be able to turn it around and make the playoffs and go in strong.

Round 6 result

Alpha:

Frankfurt met IKK FU in what should have been the topgame.
However fans got dissapointed as Frankfurt completly crushed IKK FU.
With the last team who really had a chance to stop them defeated, Frankfurt seems to be on the road to their first conference victory.
IKK FU fell down to 4th.

Bow Street met Marseille in what was supposed to be another topgame.
But Marseille struggled to get through Bow Streets defense and never really stood a chance.
Bow Street moved up to 2nd place, while Marseille is in trouble as they fell out of the playoff and down to 9th.

Glasgow met Lyon, which also turned out surprisingly not close at all.
Cause Lyon took the lead first and ever after that controlled the game to an easy victory.
This sent Lyon back on a playoff spot at 8th, but still gotto fight hard to keep it.
Glasgow is now down at 3rd.

Sweden met Spaniard in a close game.
Neither side seemed able to get through the other teams defense, and only thanks to some turnover could each team score a FG each.
However Spaniard went out hard as the second half started and managed the game only TD. And when they also scored another FG, Sweden just weren't strong enough to come back into the game.
Spaniard is back into the playoff fight at 10th, but still got a long way to go.
Sweden dropped down to 5th but still has a win to go on before getting into trouble.

Belfast massacred Clydesdale which let them hold the unsafe 6th place.

Limerick met Cork and even though they played close, Limerick managed to score points while Cork didn't.
A crucial victory for Limerick which let them hold their playoff spot at 7th for now.
Cork on the other hand fell down to 12th and are starting to see the playoffs slipping away.

Port St Lucie had some early problems against Belgrade, but eventually won confidently.
This sent Port St Lucie up to a 12th actually keeping them in the playoff fight for now.

Reykjavik massacred Larryville and ginally is out of relegation at 14th.

Zeta:

Berlin met Drunken and after first half had a confident lead if not that big.
However in the second half they got tired as they let Drunken back into the game.
However Berlin held Drunken off securing yet another victory, and a continued lead in Zeta. Drunken fell down to an unsafe 6th place.

Buffalo met Vatican where the Vatican started best taking the lead after first half.
But then they shoked and got tired, as Buffalo just ran them over in the last quarter. Buffalo still number 2, while Vatican hold their 12th place.

Rome met Tranmere, and even though Tranmere made the first points, Rome controlled the game after that having no problem winning.
Rome still holds 3rd, while Tranmere is getting it tougher to make playoffs as they fell down to 10th.

Kilkenny continue to win as their defense held of Fighting Irish from scoring more than two FG.
Kilkenny is now up on 4th while Fighting Irish is fighting for the playoff spot at their 7th.

London managed to defeat Shamrock in a hard game with only 1 TD.
This leaves London on 5th while Shamrocks is down on 9th but still in the playoff fight.

Munich massacred Camelot and got a surprise playoff spot atm at 8th.

BC had a close game with Vikings where Vikings managed to make OT with only 30 seconds left of the game.
In OT BC lost the ball quickly and Vikings could just set in the FG to win the game.
Vikings is out of relegation at 14th now while BC isn't moving and is still holding 11th.

Leeds took an easy win over P-Ville, and is also out of relegation on 13th.

I actually think Vatican out played us until the 4th quarter. Our offense was shut down and they moved it.

Although the Vaticans were able to move the ball, whenever we got within the 20 your D herded us into kicking field goals. Good Game!

Next round:

Frankfurt - Glasgow (Last hard game for Frankfurt, but Glasgow shouldn't have a chnace here)
Bow Street - Belfast (Belfast doesn't seem to bad but i really have to put ourself as favourites now as we defeated the other playoff contenders except Frankfurt)
IKK FU - Marseille (IKK FU should be favourites but Marseille might surprise and make this close.)
Sweden - Reykjavik (Yet another hard game for Reykjavik as Sweden is favourites)
Limerick - Spaniards (This is a crucial game in the playoff fight which i think neither team can lose if they wanna reach the playoffs. I hold Spaniards as favourites though)
Lyon - Larryville (Lyon massacres them)
Port St Lucie - Clydesdale (Port ST Lucie wins)
Cork - Belgrade (Cork is better)

Zeta:

Berlin - Buffalo (First game to determin the number 1, i think both teams can take this one)
Rome - Drunken (until they lose i will keep Rome as favourites , Drunken might give them problems though)
Kilkenny - munich (Kilkenny should take this one easily)
London - Vikings (London is the better team)
Shamrocks - Fighting Irish (Another crucial game where the winner will be much closer towards playoffs. It will probably be very close)
Tranmere - Leeds (Tranmere wins)
BC - Vatican (I say like last time, I don't see how the Vatican can lose this )
P-Ville - Camelot (Relegation fight, but P-Ville should be better)

Bow Street dominated us, no question(Not as much as the score indicates though)

But I'm still incredibly pissed off by the defeat against Frankfurt. We should have won this game. We were the better team.

A drop on 3rd down, that would have put us on their 21 at the last second, followed by a non FG attempt at their 30 yds line was just too much of an awful ending.

As last year indicated, the most important thing is to get hot at the right time, so I'm not too much worried right now. But we need to win one game against Glasgow or IKK. Won't come easy.
