ok, you are still wrong about alot.
you didn't read the posts before posting.
I understand what this thread is about, thats why i originally posted.
I understand what this thread is about now and I can't stop laughing.
anyways GoodLuck to you.

sorry again to Gerr for how i came off originally and derailing your thread

i should of stated, "Consider the teams/ agents that are on the level, and have built a small network and like it that way. sometimes weird conflicts arise but nothing is permanent here anyway. IF anyone takes on too much with too many teams how effective can they really be anyways?
Agents can spread the same damaging info around teams?"

to offer a possible solution- let the GOLD CHAMPION place the new teams in conferences.Sure they would prolly place the tougher teams in the other conference, but that could help each conference get stronger. It would give an active person the chance to consider these things,if its really a conference thing. support probably wouldn't help in the future either. even otherteams in the league don't help sometimes
I a little incentive to win the champonship too maybe.

im just unsure about one thing...u say u come in and implement your "system" correct? I assume this means giving build advice, putting together the custom plays you have that work, and then setting up the DAI for the first season or 2

so using this logic, the team takes your gold level DAI, in copper and silver and dominates the competition, to get to Gold where you leave the staff and the new DC takes over.

However theres some problems here with your logic in coming out with this thread...because you have done all the work of a DC before they get to Gold...and you say how teams like WVWP, NOPW, and GA all are running the same system so they know how it can be beat....so look here, you have installed your system, which you obviously are very familiar with and can probably exploit the hell out of...but the team that you helped out isnt gonna up and leave the system that has done so well for them...and in case you have put YOURSELF in a much more advantageous position than you are actually claiming...you really dont see the hypocracy in what you are saying buddy?

Time to come clean.

LE ran the Nightmare Crossroads AI in this Silver 2 championship game, so I wouldn't have been in Gold if it weren't for LE's coaching either:

Though to be honest, they wouldn't have scored a single point if Gerr hadn't gotten that FG.

Ideas that many won't like. hmmm.....

W O W

gruppo, don't forget I was in this league its very first year of its inception and a couple years following with the South Park Hippies (until Galithor started up with Fantasy Football and didn't have as much time to spend with GLB anymore). Oh how I missed this league and the good forum topics.

season 8,9,10 bling!!

i usually try and stay out of the good forum topics generally and try and fly under the radar but this struck a nerve.

i'm pretty sure some teams are gonna try and give us some extra smackdown now, but I'm over it.

We'll probably get demoted anyway, so it won't matter.

While this is off topic from my original post, I never fully implement my Gold DAI on a Silver or Copper team. I give them a scaled down version good enough to do well in Silver, but designed to let them grown into it and change it to suit their needs. My goal isn't to get them into Gold, it's to get them good enough where they can compete with the better Silver teams. They need to take it to the next step on their own because if they get to Gold before they are ready, it's probably a one & done in Gold for them. If they do make it to Gold, yes, I will know the holes of my defensive system, but the point is that once I leave their team, they can change it to suit their needs and that might make it better or worse, but it will be different.

The whole point of me being a DC for a Silver or Copper team is to try to increase the talent pool in Pee-Wee by teaching other teams what I have learned so far. Am I a master of Pee-Wee defense, NO, but I am fairly good at it. This is the same reason I posted those Pee-Wee guides during the off season between S13 & S14.

I am honestly trying to help the Pee-Wee system in general by increasing the talent pool of the whole thing. However, a few people seem to love to twist my words and make me sound like hypocrite.

And getting back to my original post, I have made my feelings made. Some agree, others strongly disagree. Nothing we can do about it until the mods decide to make a change, which is unlikely. So for now, it's just a heated discussion. I knew some wouldn't agree, but never thought people would get nasty and try to rip me apart for the suggestion. Guess I hit a nerve.

LOL system!

We (ping, no fear, ncooke and chitchc2) don't have a "system" at least if we do nobody has shared it with me. We sure don't run the same AI's hell I don't even think we use the same inputs based on the games I've watched.

Next thing you know I'll be banned because I get paid to coach football in real life and people will be saying "no fair, he's a professional".

Which brings me to another point I meant to make earlier.

Yes, high school, college and nfl football teams do share coaching information, strategy and game film. The do it every single day of the year including Thanksgiving and New Years. I can't think of a single game where we didn't have direct information from a local school on an opponent we were preparing for. We trade information like a commodity and we send scouts to opponents open practices and games.

No nerve BTW mostly just boredom at this point. You seem like a nice enough guy to me and it's not that your topic was completely frivolous. You did name some names so you should expect fall out from that every time.
