We definitely had our struggles, but we also proved we could play with any of them. TBH, it still looks like Valhalla/Blaze, and then a mess of 8-10 teams.

True, but I don't think Blaze and Valhalla are as unbeatable as they were last season. This season, it's possible to get lucky and hang with them for awhile. Last season it was lights out.

Think that is the sim more than the "gap" closing any though.

The "gap" existed in large part due to the sim.

At this point, where it takes months upon months to build a WL player, we're all pretty much just guessing with our builds and hoping we land the right sim at the right time.

The sim leads to huge gaps between teams, absolutely, but the sim also helped close the gap a little this season by making every team be able to pass instead of just a select few.

eh, blln nailed it - anybody can pass, and it was the only reason Wildfire was even close in most of our losses - just tossed it downfield to our 140 speed WRs and score a handful of TDs.

passing got easier with a lot of people adjusting builds and also pump fakes and catch fakes and look offs, oh my!

look off doesn't fire much yea. i've only seen a few replays where it does but a couple of them have been huge plays. more just that it's another addition to fake fest passing game

probably because they nerfed zone back to the SI slam age and look off only works against zone
