Also a big diff in the builds and such from what I've seen.

So? 186 pancakes in one game is absurd, even if the Blaze are clearly superior. I'm glad that Bort has taken pro-active steps to address stupid blocking logic, but he also needs to turn OTs & Blocking TEs into mere mortals.

Well, taking the best players from the two best teams in USAPL last season (aka they were each better than the Mice already), I imagine the Blaze should be vastly superior to any pro team.

Historically, we (the Mice) played Chocolate City very closely before the merge with the Blaze, but they almost always came out a little bit ahead.

We only played the Blaze once or twice and I simply didn't have an answer for them. It was before tagging, but still, they were solidly ahead of us talent-wise. So anyway, I agree, it's no surprise that we can't quite compete with the Blaze at this point, even though the changes in the sim seem to have favored us this year.

I do think we could play the game a lot closer if both sides gameplanned, though, as that tends to equalize things a bit...but there is no doubt that we're still playing catch-up. But that's okay, we're happy with the progress we've made, and think we could be competitive with more than half of the WL teams right now, even if we're not on par with the league's elite.

The First 3 plays of the game left to a morale spin most likely, I am sure the game would be closer if we matched up again.

Only if he turns DTs into mortals at the same time. D-line has the advantage over the O-line regardless of the pancake numbers.

Warsaw Wrath and Minsk Ninjas from EEPL would both do well here.

Both would do well. The Wrath hopefully will get a chance before hitting the decline.

Not trying to knock SO at all because they have always been a good team and rival but the Cs pulled away from you guys the last season.

Plus this season most of our players are peaking and we aren't underleveled anymore. Not to mention throwing the best players on the Blaze, Cs and Turtles together with spare parts from Bayou mixed in and Blln taking the AIs up about 3 levels.

What exactly are you basing that on? 11 players already have 150 or more pancakes not even two-thirds of the way through this season (only 6 total at the end of last season).
