No team has ever been taken away for financial issues in the history of glb according to several posts I've read in the main forums, so what kind of "big fucking trouble" are they in? Worst case scenario they lose their first round game and are in a minor financial hole, that won't even matter.
Ever meet dickheads who brag about the money they have in real life? They always sound like a douche bag, now imagine how someone sounds who brags about the money they have in GLB? Even worse.
My team is gonna be greatly in the negatives, and I'm proud of it, I planned to do it this way knowing the whole season that I would be making it all back and then some in my first playoff game.
The reason you have so much money is because you didn't spend it on any talent and judging by your roster you haven't had to give out many lvl 16 bonuses.
Get a clue.

I sure hope there aren't any negative consequence lest this post get archived and shown to me when GLB requires a lot of XP to fix my broke ass team.

Except I did the calculations from week 3, come talk to me after I get my guaranteed 800k from my first playoff game.
I would expect anyone on this site to be able to project and plan financially in this game, it isn't hard.
Have fun with all your money and no playoffs.

I giggled. On the real, though, I hope our team is more competative next season.
I'm really working on it.

We will be and my little ole Lvl 10 LB will be much higher by the start of the season, the Triceratops in the eyes of many on here may have not had a successful season, I personally dont think it was too bad for most of us being first timers.
We will be back more knowledgeable and stronger.

Say you have 6 boosts(this seasons and nexts) left, and you level up one more time this year, you will be lvl 17, which really isn't going to be high in comparison to the top level teams in this league.

I never looked at your team but considering you are like 15-1 I have no problem with your team projecting playoff money. In your case it is likely you get that money from having home games. Comparing your situation to the situation of the teams that I mentioned is just stupid. None of those teams will have a home playoff game or can expect to go very far. Not sure what your burn rate for the end of the season but at least you can expect to win it all.
I had read somewhere that if a team went negative and stayed there for a while then that team would be taken away. If there are no consequences then that is a major game issue.
However how do you plan to compete next year? Your stadium is too small to support the rising salary costs and now you are way behind in money. To upgrade the stadium and buy seats will take millions that you don't have. Your players continue to improve every day and every time you have to redo a contract you are out more money. Can you give signing bonuses when you don't have money? Can you redo the contracts without money?
Maybe I am wrong but I pretty much think you guys are the Florida Marlins in the league. Yeah you get to win but you will have to gut your team next year and it will take time to build out of that hole.
I actually think not expanding my stadium last year was a huge mistake.
Everything I have read indicates that the biggest rookie mistake of owners is running out of money.

All I can say to that "it is what it is" I will do with him what I can and maybe one day my LB will win your love and respect, until then I will drink myself into happiness.

No but the gap shrinks. There is a smaller difference between a guy who is level 22 vs 17 and between a guy that is 10 vs 5. I am not saying he won't be behind but the differences are not as large.

No one has every lost a team because of money (I have seen countless threads where people ask and many veterans/board frequenters like that malachorn guy etc say this), it is easy mode, without any stadium upgrades you get 3 million or above with ticket sales, plus concessions. I suppose if you keep on going on without upgrading your stadium you will be broke. Plus with the max and minimum salaries any idiot is prevented from going broke.

I am not way behind in money, our first round playoff game will net us 800k at least, and if we happen to win that one the next game will get us even more than that. All of my players with the exception of 1 or 2 have their lvl 16 money already paid out to them.

You are very wrong, the fact that you just said I will have to gut my team is laughable.
Let's talk about your financial situation for a moment, but this time we will have someone knowledgeable talking about it.
$991,395 is your current cash
$62,500 is my estimate for your daily salary.
You have one home game left, the only day you will make money this season remaining.
Only 8 of your players are lvl 16 or above, I'm guess that all of your other players haven't been given their lvl 16 money yet.
You still have 10 more days salary to pay, so that is $625,000 right there.
So, $991,395 - $625,000 = $366,395
Add in the money from tomorrows game and concessions and you still aren't looking that great with all the bonuses you will have to give out and all those millions of dollars in stadium upgrades you speak of.
Once again, get a clue.

actually I already admitted that I screwed up in not upgrading my stadium last year. I am not bragging about my financial situation. Hence the part where I said other owners were smarter than me.
I also stated I don't compare your situation to the other teams I named. Notice you were not one of those teams so I don't know why you are so defensive about this. You have a home playoff games they don't. They can't to my knowledge expect a 800,000 payday. Not sure if it comes out that to much as I haven't looked at those numbers. If so then your gamble worked out. Congrats.

Yes, but you then went on to say "however" and pointed out all my financial shortcomings and compared us to the Marlins.
I just took it as one of those times when someone says no offense before an insult
"No offense but you smell like dirty ass"
Just saying something like that before something negative doesn't give you carte blanche to say it.
