hays23, I've been to the WL. I didn't have fun, my agents didn't have fun... I'm not ready to go back yet. That was the ONLY season I didn't enjoy the GLB. My agents boycotted the forums cause they didn't enjoy it. It had nothing to do with winning or losing... I have no problem giving an honest effort and getting my ass kicked... its happened in the past...

But if you and your agents aren't having fun... then the games not fun... what's the point?

And when I went to the WL, I put players on the Sea Wolves and GRITS, I tried to get the Pirates too, but didn't work out (only 3 teams to recruit me). I'm always for keeping all the talent we do have in Africa... If my team ever folded (not that that will ever happen ), all my players would be offered to the team that were always good to me.

what exactly is the fun in winning all your games without trying?

On a ide note I gave up my stud WR to Dakar to play in the WL this season. Will it hurt my team yes but hopefully this will help an APL team actually stay in the WL. I would give more but I do not have anything else to give. The rest of my players are spoken for. I am one of the owners that hates to have alot of his own players on his team. I have been around this game since early season 2 and have alot of fun doing so. I have made some friends in the process. I have not been attacked with the great teams until recently where I have had a player on the Benitos.

I understand what you and rj did. I am not for or against it. It just sucks that APL is not being represented by the best and many of use here feel that your team the RJ's team were the best we had to offer. Either way I am going to find away to score more than 14 points on Grits.

I've played in the WL as well on Bonn. There are several teams and agents I like in WL but the vocal few in the forums were enough to ruin what was otherwise a great season. The Bonn folks are awesome and we were a competitive team, but I did not enjoy the WL forums at all. Following that season I brought my dots back to APL.

I grew up in Africa and worked our way up with TLGOT. I always enjoyed Africa and it was at its finest with LOL as the elite team and all of us working hard to compete with them and several others that could win any particular game. However I just retired 58k work of dots and I don't have a dog in this fight anymore. Truthfully the APL has changed as well.

We were all frankly torn about what to do but generally decided that if we made it by making the Championship game we would not turn down the invite, but if we lost to DD that we would stay in APL. Either way, I'm along for the ride and will support RJ either way. I am infinately more loyal to my owners than Bort or the GLB community at large.

Honestly hays23, we game planned EVERY game this season. Even the "easiest" game on our schedule we game planned for. The Sea Wolves made me nervous all season... one of the "Worst Teams" just had a tough season... they could have turned it on at any time tbh... just couldn't figure out what was wrong. I should know, I looked over the team for Palmer...

This season, like I said is totally different... your teams were a bit younger then some of the top teams. No us "top teams" are in the same boat as you... replacing +20 players/player agents (that didn't have players leveled up enough to join the Rhinos this season).
