That is a pretty fair question, tbh.

Doesn't give a shit about your team yes. Handicapped no! That's like the Johnnie Cochran's "Chewbacca defense" that does not make sense.

Hokie- I'll play along with your game, and answer the question unlike you who still to this day do not have the balls to answer why you changed your name from USAORG (but I'm over that)...anyways I think you should respect a team that keeps trying...there that is my answer...Also nice PC you put in about being the best in APL, oh along with TLGOT...There can only be 1 best....Anyways...fire away like you always do....

Trying to improve.....But like I said you already think one way of me, as I do you...Nothing I can do to change that....So you tell me what you want from me:
1. Not to post on APL
2. Sell my team
3. What?

I hope you don't think I like coming on the forums to fire up your whole team....What do you want Hokie, you tell me...I already said you are the best team here...Tell me what you want.

I am all for supporting owners with teams that keep trying, but at some point, one has to wonder just how hard some of the owners in this game really try to field a championship team. It is one thing to face all the headaches of off-season recruiting and finding decent GM's to help with game planning and to make a team competitive week in and week out. It is quite another to just "give it the old college try" when running a team and pointing out excuse after excuse for what amounts to nothing but average play at best.

IMHO, it simply boils down to the difference between owners that are dedicated to winning championships, owners that give it their all in trying to be competitive and owners that make excuses and belittle other teams to hide their own inadequacies.

Most agents in this game know what they want to get out of this game and the agents with players that want to win championships can figure out which type of owner they want to play for. Those on the fence need only read the APL forums to find the type of owner they are looking for.

Just my $.02.

What do I want? I want LOL to win the APL title every season

What do I want from you?
Here's the difference between us shevegas. You want me to respect your team. I don't disrespect your team. I ignore it, and I try really really hard, to ignore you as well. On the other hand, I don't care if you don't respect me or my team (including players/GMs). BUT, I want you to stop DISrespecting my team. There, does that answer your question?

EDIT: In case you haven't noticed, I can easily ignore your hundreds of personal attacks against me. Meaningless imo. But when you constantly bash my team and players, well, I can only ignore that for so long. It's your call, as it's always been. You're the one that brings about this shit every time

Honestly, my post was not directed at any specific owner. It was more an observation I have seen at all levels of GLB both for teams my players are on, or have been on, as well as reading public forums. Every agent has the right to know what kind of owner they are getting ready to play for, and part of that assessment includes what they read in a public forum. I just thought it was a good methodology for agents with players to consider when choosing a team.

It really isn't my place to tell people if I want them to post or not. As an agent, I have no players in APL but follow this forum because it is active and for the most part I find the discussions and banter refreshing in an otherwise socially stale game. And like most other agents/owners, I am capable of reading the posts I want to read and ignoring the ones they want to ignore. To each his/her own.

Damn. It makes me admire myself. Babylon has come a long way!!
I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything about Depth Chart to hide things.
My memories are not that good, but this list is about right in my mind.
Unlike Conakry and USAORG, I think we started this team with our level in the lower half, but there are still a lot of recruiting going on for many lower teams.
In the middle of season 3, Babylon's starter level was 2nd to last.
It's also a proof that we didn't boost early.

With lower average starter level to begin with, we still fight our way to the playoffs along the journey, and last for so long in APL, longer than so many many teams.
I have fun with my friends on this team, help out friends on other teams, and try my best to stay competitive.
Plus, Africa was only my #3 on my wish list, and I got assigned here against my #1 and #2 wishes.
Bort or Mod should give me a gold star or something. (OK, I'm joking about gold star.)

I guess this is the reason why those smash talks or trash talks can not affect me in any way.
Good luck to fellow APL teams.

Too bad the Lion teams are not on this. I'd love to see ours, we were one of the lower level teams I believe, but those low level had one hell of a chip on their shoulder. I remember hoping we could be in playoff contention our first season, but be set up for a run in our second season. We went 14-2 in each season. Good times.
