WTF would you change something that beat every team in the game even when they knew what was coming?

Especially against a bad OC/DC with under-leveled players?

I would guess that the all-screen strategy isn't going to work for most teams.

Krazy has the best RT in the game, one of the best TEs, and one of the best blocking WRs. Not to mention possibly the best RB crew in the game.

Krazy was built to screen.

too bad ur disbanding

aw snap

great win by the Monkeys, doesn't matter if they ran screen all the time, everyone knew that was coming (some team eventually running screen heavy to pull off upset in the playoffs), just happened a few days early. Just wait til the playoffs, it's going to be just as fun as ISlam.

Allowing 34 points isnt that impressive tbh. Plus they most likely had their gameplan to play DH as they didnt give a fuck about a non playoff team.

We didn't have a gameplan.
I admit at some point I had that "I bet they throw a lot of screens" thought, but didn't bother changing anything.

Are SI's team that predictable?

'We got basically no chance to win, let's throw a bunch of screen' Sounds SI like alot.

At least now we know that if Bonn played Bonn. Bonn would lose.

Beaten by their own gameplan. Disastrous.

what's funny is that like 50 teams in a row decided to throw into triple coverage and get passes picked off.

having a balanced game plan was the predictable game plan and it was a losing one.

the funny part about Karl's suggestions for gameplan changes on the Beans were - "I don't even know a single play in the playbook and couldn't call a play in the AI to save my life, but let's make up some new plays that aren't invented where my horrible passing QB can actually complete a pass."

My response: there is only 1 such pass. It is called a screen pass. That's all we have.

His uneducated response: "well, c'mon, everyone knows that is coming. I don't know what to do, but let's mix it up"

After the inevitable loss where Karl couldn't even suggest a single play to call that might work: "you suck at calling offense"

LOL @ Karl

if it makes you feel any better, I only watched 1 full game and spent about 45 minutes game planning the offense AND defense.

I made a post an hour before the game where I told the O-line to Pass Block, but no one saw it and switched before the game. I didn't have time to post anything for the defense, but if I had, no one would have seen it anyway since the forum was pretty dead since midseason.

If you look at our defense, I only had 1 quickly made input for most sets because I didn't have time to do anything else. I had a 3rd and long input for a couple. Most of the defenses in the game were new ones which I never tested out and just made up in the hour before the game started.

I didn't spend much time on the game at all.

Why can't anyone ever just say: "we put the usual (minimal) effort in and lost. GG"

If Bonn was putting much effort into their games, I didn't see it. The play calling on offense looks exactly the same from what I saw all season long in the scouting. To change it for an underleveled team after winning 50 in a row would have been asinine.

still doesnt even matter

Bonn lost nothing its the equivilent of Miami beating New England in the season finale before they raped the Eagles in Superbowl 39

SI = perfect season spoiler.

Drygerian was afraid to play me in the first round last season, so they just took the loss and finished (15-1):

The Hoblos should have at least taken the 16-0 regular season, because they failed miserably in the playoffs and don't have anything to show for last season but whining and tears.
