It's not the attitude, games like this one Piss people off TBH. I personally don't give a crap what other teams do.....BUT, some guys actually care who wins the dot awards in each league. It's bad enough with the games against gut jobs....than you add in this LOLBULLSHIT and it makes it even worse for guys who are into that part of the game. I know Dry and Marblehead were just having some good old skool CPL fun. But it's been done before guys the joke isn't working anymore. It's such a fine line between clever and stupid

Some might define this as...well, acting like a loser. Actually, a lot of people outside this game would. Let's take a poll and get some direct quotes OUTSIDE OF GLB. If you had the chance to mess a bunch of people who took a football sim about dots running around on the field so serious, that they actually got mad about the games, would you do it? Look at the threads it produces. We can count on you guys to provide lulz every single time over something as silly as this.

Attitudes like this are actually what makes that little "rankings committee" a big joke. Read all the Halifax comments from the past ones. There is almost always a "if they cared..." or "<insert something about the current team name here>" or "haha they have so many other teams on their roster and still aren't undefeated!" or "they are only good because of ex-Dryden players" or "they are headed downhill" (when they clearly aren't) and we could go on and on all day. All it is and jealousy and hatred from a bunch of pompous individuals who are apparently so full of themselves that they don't even see the flaws.

And this isn't a call out of everyone on the rankings committee, just the people who make those sort of comments. If you want something like that to be taken seriously, it is a place where person feeling like this don't belong. You ever see a play by play person making those sort of bias comments? How about the people who run the BCS mess? Even they are smart enough to know this isn't something you do. Even if you think it, you don't say it. It's simple common sense. But the CPL is full of tools!

P.S. LOL@the thought that this has anything to do about the MVP. It never even entered into my mind until mentioned in this thread. Mainly because we don't look at the MVP rankings.

There's no rule about how much to care, or not care. So I guess if we have to let you care about dots, you have to let us not care about dots. If not caring messes some things up... well, shit happens.
