Offensive MVP isn't too too far off. Main problem is that it overcompensates for blowouts.

Defensive MVP is a different story. Pacman's allowed like 2 catches per game. Ironically, most of those catches are in blowouts (because cruise control). Anyways, he's ranked a lot lower than CBs with more tackles. That's kind of funny to me. If he gave up more catches, he'd have a better ranking.

Of course, you can't just make it so that less catches given up = better. Otherwise, put two CBs on a WR to help the CBs out (the QB will throw away) and they'll improve stats without being better. Or, just put some dude in the field and have him cover no one or a fullback (someone who never catches) and then the same thing.

Bort would have to put in a forced completion % to accurately gauge CBs, as well as a catches allowed measurement.

Basically, the DBs rankings are just flat out inaccurate. Put a good tackling DB on a team that loses more than it wins (to exclude blowout factor), and there you go. Basically covers the formula. Since I doubt it calculates missed tackles, put him on power tackling to get FFumbles and get an even bigger boost.

So what part of my reasoning is wrong?

The fact that a CB that gives up more catches (and thus gets more tackles) is better than one that gives up less? Is that true? I always thought the goal of a CB was to not give up catches.

Linebackers should be rated by their tackles and FFs. D-Ends should be by sacks, hurries, and FFs. DBs should be by forced incompletion %, INTs, and catches allowed.

Ok so you are talking about a corner NOT a FS. I said I am the best FS NOT CB. Even though he would be a good corner too.

I am amazed at all the whining about when we beat a team, this, that well it was only this time, if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle, hell I guess teams just want us to lose EVERY game. It was early in the season...chemistry...we forgot to use our temp boost. If you guys need excuses, I will think of some in the future.

I just dont know why its so tough to admit my FS is damn good. You knock on him because he has a lot of tackles, well MAYBE he gets more because he CATCHES a guy your shitty FS cant catch up to also, think about that????
