A 10 level difference is much less of a factor at our level than at a level 25, 21, or 13. If you build a quality player or team you can take down poorly built player or teams any day. I'm just stating that I don't think that those DE's are of high quality for there level. They are just higher level. I would rather have my DE's than those any day of the week.

I <3 my DEs. Especially Woodley. He's a monster. His build is pretty awesome. If only DEs weren't so fucked up or else I would have put him in a higher league.(plus I like the run defense he adds)

I'm sorry, I just can't buy the statement that levels make a HUGE difference. It's all about the builds and gameplanning IMO. If you want a perfect example, look no further than the Black Sea Storm from last season. They were outleveled in almost every game they played, their entire roster was around level 30-32 last season, and they were still able to go 11-5 and advance to the 2nd round of playoffs. They were also able to earn a promotion, which I don't think they really wanted at the time, I can tell you from experience that it didn't matter what the levels were when we played them last season as they beat our butts. Now, could that result have been from shitty gameplanning, of course. It could also be that we didn't have great builds and they did even though we outleveled them by an average of appx. 5-6 levels. The point is, is that levels aren't everything. I know that you'll look at our roster at KGB and tell me that's it's easy for me to say this when we have a number of higher leveled players for this league, but the fact of the matter is that I spent a great deal of time this offseason recruiting really good builds, while trying to keep the majority of the team intact so that we wouldn't have to struggle with our chemistry issues this season.

if you have great builds and a good gameplan and the team you're up against has great builds and a good gameplan... which team wins if one team has several players that outlevel their opponent by 5 at some positions and as much as 11 in others?

in some cases you can overcome being outleveled. however, if you've up against a team with a decent gameplan and good builds, then being outleveled suddenly becomes much more of a factor.

my original post was more of a compliment to my opponent than anything else. they gameplanned well, and their builds gave us issues. yes, their end had a 10 level advantage. anyone here arguing that this makes no difference is simply out of their mind. i'm not asking for a recount here. we lost. maybe if i was a genius, we could have overcome the level difference.

my team has good builds, and i think we game plan fairly well. we're not great in any area.

Yep and now BSS is struggling. I feel for XC but we were able to finally exact some revenge and beat them this season!
