I'm saying "homer-defend" meaning I'd never defend them as a homer, meaning unrealistically.

Yeah that was the last straw for me. I completely stopped following ESPN awards after that. First their analysts who hyped up JaMarcus Russell, then their Skip Bayless nonsense, then having lil wayne and lil bowow... then this? Wtf.
