Well, I get why you are miffed, but I don't agree that it is a direct lie. It won't be a lie until the shuffle actually happens, which it hasn't, but perhaps it will. However, just in general, I do get miffed when people lie to me.

So if a conference has 16 teams right now with teams who are all about the same level together, then Bort will not shuffle teams down a league, right? Because that's the one thing that will truly tick me off, the conference my team is in has 15-16 teams all close in levels so if a couple teams decide they want to go back to BBB to dominate, that's not really fair to the rest of the league. I want to make sure this is NOT what this is about.

The shuffle is horizontal, no one will go up or down. All EE A teams will still be in EE A with or without a shuffle.

I'm confused with what the shuffle will do, will it shuffle up only the EE A leagues to get teams of equal level in the same leagues? But if a conference is already equal, will it leave it alone?(the conference I am in, I feel is pretty damn close levelwise from top to bottom and I have some fun rivalries with quite a few teams in it and would rather not lose them)

Ok, that's what I was wondering but in doing the shuffle, you lose some of the rivalries you had with teams that came up before you and with you.

If they came up with you, then it is a good likelyhood that you will be in the same league still as your levels should be about the same. The rivalries that came up before you might be a lost cause though.

You cannot choose to be not in the shuffle once it is implemented

You cant choose, you could only choose your cap for teams getting demoted this is different.

And you can form new rivalries or meet up in the future.

Basically the shuffle would take all the teams in A and separate them into leagues that would be more "equal". Put all the teams with 30+s etc in their own league and the 20 somethings in their own leagues to keep parity and make it more competitive. At least thats how i understand it.

Well, so far (and my math is always bad) only 13 different teams have voiced a "yes". If Bort goes with the majority rule from his original post then 13 out of 256 isn't going to make it happen.

That's my understanding as well. Meaning every team you'll face is an instant rival. No lopsided wins/losses.

Sounds like a good thing to me.
