Danube are a great team and they will continue to do well. They don't need a trophy to stroke their ego. They know they have a good team and they are going to work to take it all the way up.
One way or another, you are eventually gonna play against a team like the Smexies, at some level between Pro and BBB. Your trophies don't matter if you get your ass handed you at a higher level, so you work at it to make sure you can play when you get there.
Who is to say that the guys who are in BBB wont be back up at some point? its all about being competitive. I dont want to play in a league where I am not at least given a fair shot to win it each year. you guys might disagree and think hey you gotta take your lumps. All I ask on GLB is to have a legit shot each and every season. but let me ask you this, if EE was reshuffled would CY have been put in AA? I think you know the answer is no way. how could you put a team full of lvl 29's in AA.
GLB will never have a system like that, because then people will complain about either 1) Rivalries don't get a chance to develop, 2) One team always wins, or 3) They're always playing the same teams. People will always find something to complain about here in GLB, and part of it now is you have the choice of rushing up and taking your lumps or hanging down and risking going into decline before you hit Pro.
If you want to be 100% competitive every season, there is always Pee Wee. Otherwise, your goal should be on the prize in Pro; anything else is icing on the cake.
Actually you can retire players and sell/relegate into 13 capped leagues often. That's what I've been trying. 13 caps are the funnest leagues imo, full featured as far as tactics, but competitive as far as levels. I'm pretty awesome.
