Go for it, we're not targeting you with that rule.

The problem is that a lot of teams have been cutting 30 players and then selling the team off recently, leaving the new owner with only a few players on the roster.

Oh I understand the rule, it's just a dumb side-effect of it, that legit teams who just happen to not have 40 players (but still have plenty of depth) have to do that.

40 players isnt alot....in starters alone you have 24...so to have 40 players that means your only backing up 16 of the 24 starting positions. So if you dont have 40 players you do not have a deep team.

If feedback gets the list started sooner I'll add my 2 cents: Bort, great idea.

If, for whatever reason, you have under 40 players at the end of the day (expiring contracts, etc), random CPUs will be added to the team. This helps new owners to be ensured a team with enough players on it, and helps out with inactive teams as well.

The only modification I would like for this idea is to make the CPU player be the same level as the recently departed human player instead of it being random.

That's too hard to sort out, with trades, cuts, etc. What if it was based on the current average level of the team, or league?

Bort and DD I have a suggestion. Since the owners that bought teams in season one will have to rebuy their teams soon, could you make it so that these owners would have a set amount of time ( like 2 days) to rebuy their team? This way their would be a better chance of someone on the waiting list getting a team.

They get to extend their team at any time up until the day they lose it. We don't want to force an existing owner to only renew their team only during some random little window.

That would be good too, yes.

Nope, one team per person. A player on the team might have the option in an inactive situation, though.

Bort, did you see this?

Will we have the option to switch leagues again with the upcoming expansion?

I had very much been wanting to get into an Africa Pro League team, prior to the expansion 4 weeks ago (and in fact had had some PM discussions with Bort about that possibility)

When it became clear that no new regions would be added, i purchased a team in South America AAA, but if it is still possible to have my team moved to Africa Pro when it gets created, i'd like to take advantage of that opportunity.

So the waiting list is going to be based on the day you signed up for the site, and not the time you signed up for the waiting list?

I like the idea, adds structure, and defently am I fan of raising the price for more responsible owners I was lucky and got my team before this, but still wouldn't have complained if this was in place.
