Builds get there all in due time, no reason to be slow about it.

I've seen what it could do and it still isn't worth it.
Regular slow build or SSB for one year max is the best two routes to go, anything longer is just a waste.

There is actually

If you fast build you lose out on stacking the bonus you recieve each time you level on top of an already high attribute. By doing this you save so many SP's it isnt funny and are able to use the sp's you saved on other attributes. People have the wrong idea that they lose out on levels of boosting by sitting on the bench. They do BUT its more than made up everytime you and you get the bonus on top.

I think there are still advantages to soft cap some skills as soon as possible, but do it in a lump format. For example, Center, try and roll a 20 or so for strength, once you hit level 4, apply enough SP to bring it to soft cap and let the additional level up add 1 point to strength without having to apply the 2:1 ratio to add a point to the skill. Keep compiling the SP unitl you reach 8 -10 ... around here, you will be able to add to blocking to soft cap.

The training increase ... the old threads on point per level are now obsolete ... I haven't searched the forums for a new training / SP increase matrix.

The one thing to note on Strength ... there are not a lot of good combos to include strength into the intense training format.

Below is a list of softcaps and the skillpoints it takes to move in between them.

00.00 <---[ 1:1]---> 48.06 This means it will cost 1 sp between 0 and 48 on an ability to up it one point
48.07 <---[ 2:1]---> 60.51 This means it will cost 2 sp between 48 and 60 on an ability on an ability to up it one point
60.52 <---[ 3:1]---> 67.97 This means it will cost 3 sp between 60 and 67 on an ability on an ability to up it one point
67.98 <---[ 4:1]---> 73.24 etc
73.25 <---[ 5:1]---> 77.28
77.29 <---[ 6:1]---> 80.53
80.54 <---[ 7:1]---> 83.25
83.26 <---[ 8:1]---> 85.58
85.59 <---[ 9:1]---> 87.60
87.61 <---[10:1]---> 89.40
89.41 <---[11:1]---> 91.01
91.02 <---[12:1]---> 92.46
92.47 <---[13:1]---> 93.79
93.80 <---[14:1]---> 95.00
95.01 <---[15:1]---> 96.13
96.14 <---[16:1]---> 97.18
97.19 <---[17:1]---> 98.15
98.16 <---[18:1]---> 99.06
99.07 <---[19:1]---> 99.99
100.0 <---[20:1]---> etc.

Say you want to get a player from 99 to 100. You would be pretty dumb to use 19 sp's to do so.
However, if built right you can easily do certain positions just by leveling.

Say i want a DE ot have 90 natural speed.
I;d be dumb to keep adding sp's after the 6:1
when if i build right and get to 77 speed by level 16 i will then be able to use the rest of my sp's in other attributes balancing out while each time i level i get .50 more to speed. SO by level 42 BAm i just got there just leveling saving a shit ton of SP's.

Anyways, im about tired of talking about it now,. I prolly shouldnt be trying to teach people im playing against anyways. it benifits me and my team for me to just quit talking about how to build.

I just rolled mine a week ago, so technically he wont be SSB. No point in SSBing since the whole team is a reroll team after a disband.

Me either.

Guys, you have to realize, you still have all your other players that you would right now. So you are still having plenty of fun with them. You just have a few extra that are fermenting on the bench. And the enjoyment of them fermenting is knowing that with every day they are distancing themselves from future players they will be matched up against. mainly because those players are not even created yet. I think it's very enjoyable to have your normal players, and also have these little "perfect" players and try to squeek every possible fraction of a skill point before hitting a cap-13 team.

I have a few players on a SSB team now... and I have a few new players that have no affiliations with teams yet, so I'm not sure if I'll do the 5 year deal or just 3.

I have never SSB a player for 5 seasons yet. I may do a couple to try it.

Myself and a few affiliates have a whole roster of 5 season SSB players scheduled to be ready for season 12. It's basically for shits and giggles as most of us have 20+ players anyways. Should be interesting.

I think thats overkill but if you manage to get to 5 seasons with everyone still together that would be impressive.

One agent has enough for a whole roster just in case anyone else backs out. It might be overkill but it will be cheap!

Thanks

Now that we know that attributes go over 100 off of leveling bonus's too i'll be taking him right to the 78 (by lvl 16) cap. He'll have extremly high STR and easily be the strongest center in GLB for now atleast. The way i'm building him by level 40 i'll be able to pull off 77 blocking and 67 agility as well.

So he should look something like this w/out gear at 40
122 STR
78 Block
67 Agility
48 vision
48 confidence

I wish i had him now to be honest with how the pancaking is going on lol.

OH and pratt. I dont have plans for all of my level 1 players. Check them out man. They all have great high first attribute rolls with few to no wasted points. Let me know if you get that far and if i make it as well i'll get atleast a player on the team. I wouldnt want to miss out on that. Theres some planned now but i have yet to see a SSB team make it to even 3 seasons on the bench. I'd like to be part of the first 5 season SSB.

Sounds good Mith. I know we are sticking it out. My team and another agents team has paid out several million dollars so everyone can train for 5 seasons. They all know how pissed i would be if i end up wasting my money. Like i said though, 1 agent has enough to cover the whole roster just in case. He is my most trusted GM/agent. We have been on the same teams since season 1 now.
