He is a buffoon who can't remember his quarterbacks' names. He pumped up his recruiting class this year with numerous kids who aren't going to qualify to artificially pump their rating. He followed up a disappointing 8-5 final season that got Mack Brown fired by going 6-7 in a weak Big 12 and being humiliated by the SEC in their bowl game. This season doesn't look to be any better. Historically, he had 2 good years at Louisville and 2 mediocre years. In the 4 years he coached Louisville, he played a total of 2 ranked teams, #24 West Virginia in 2011, and #4 Florida in a bowl game in 2012. Therefore, even his success at Louisville was questionable since they did not play anyone of note. His upperclassmen pool at texas last season consisted of the 2010-2012 recruiting classes, all of which were top 4 classes. He could not do anything with the talent.

He would be accepted in many schools out of state, as they do not have that foreign language requirement, but texas is refusing to let him out of the LOI and are making him go JUCO instead. Pathetic.
