any pain or is it just simply soreness/stiffness? a bit of soreness doesn't sound bad to me, that's usually a good thing imo maybe try doing some sets of pushups next time to see if they're also causing any soreness
be careful with your rotator cuffs though, if you're just starting to get back into benching i suggest starting lighter than u used to and gradually adding more weight. Also, maybe check out some rotator cuff exercises, they're easy to do and can be done in 5-10 minutes. Even mild rotator cuff injuries suck balls and can linger for months.

She told me that they can receive calls all day long except when in meetings or quiet time, and I'm not calling during those times. Could it be there just don't tell me these things about limited phone calls? Because I have important information for her, and I can't get through.
Every place is different and has its own rules. For us if someone calls for a patient we transfer to a message line that gets checked 3-4 times a day. For us we legally cannot talk about a patient unless we have a signed release of information and its too much a pain to check every time someone calls for a patient, plus most of the time if its a friend they wont have one.

Regular soreness, like I have worked out, but the issue was where it hurts, it does not feel like I'm using my entire pec which is odd. Same thing with pushups

You won't really feel it in your inner pec. That's normal. As a whole, working your inner pecs is more bodybuilding than anything.
In terms of soreness, push yourself harder. Personally, I find that I'm able (or at least more comfortable) to really push myself for a strong chest workout with a good amount of sets doing incline dumbbell presses. Benching, as a compound exercise, is definitely a great exercise, but you need to do more than just bench to really feel beat.
Also, don't undervalue push-ups. If I am getting a rush chest workout in, I'll just do bench, incline dumbbell presses, push-ups, and decline flys (getting a good stretch more than anything).

Oh. Wasn't aware of that. I had always shied away from pec workouts as a whole because I haven't really seen the usefulness. When I do pushups I did them for my triceps, with my arms touching my sides and my hands closer to my ribs. Probably couldn't hurt to switch up and go wide-normal.
I try to when I can but with my sporadic work situation, I try not to do anything that'll result in more than a day or soreness because a sore landscaper is less effective landscaper. I do definitely need to bench more though

We legally can't even confirm we have a patient there unless we have a release.

I know. But some places still do. Maybe I should take legal action, she wasn't supposed to be in the hospital directory but she was, they looked her right up for me without name or id. But that's besides the point, I had her hall # and called several times, just once a day I was able to have someone pickup.
