Heck no. I would build a balanced/lean run team if I thought that was the best offense I could build. Until they fix the ridiculous power running and lighten up on the blocking skills, I will probably go all run. Trying to build a balanced O-Line is more of the issue. I need to invest all my O-Line SPs into Run Block Tech just to get them to 90+ and compete with the monsters on the D-Line. If you wanna blame anybody for these all run teams, blame the Dev team who royally fucked building a balanced O-Line.

Well, I beat Blue Ridge but it might be too little too late. If Whoville had beaten Northland, I would have all but locked up the wildcard spot. Now I'm not sure I can make it. I gotta figure out what I need to happen in Alpha.

Wouldn't Whoville be tied with Fury at 10-2 and one them have would almost certainly be the wildcard?

If whoville would have neat northland you would have been eliminated. The fact that they lost is the only reason you still have a chance. If either of them can beat fury you will be eliminated.

Unless Whoville lost to Fury and Pain Nation, then I would have tied with Whoville, who I beat head to head. But this might be the best thing to happen to me.

I will win out...10-4.

If Fury wins out, Whoville will probably end up 10-4 and Northland will end up 9-5, at which point I will go.

There are a couple of other scenarios but I'm not quick sure who would go. There are some 3 way ties and such.

Basically I need Fury (my nemesis) to win out. This is so painful having to root for teams I don't like.

How smart are you??? I am in Beta. Fury, Northland and Whoville are in Alpha. Give me all the scenarios where I can win the wildcard birth.

I will end up 10-4.

Fury is 10-2
Whoville is 9-3
Northland is 8-4

I beat Whoville and lost to Northland and Fury.

Fury is 0-1 vs Whoville and 0-1 vs Northland
Northland is 1-0 vs Fury and 1-1 vs Whoville
Whoville is 1-0 vs Fury and 1-1 vs Northland

Games left:
Fury vs Whoville
Fury vs Northland

Go!

You need both teams to lose to fury. That's pretty much your only scenario.

I have been pitching in the forums that we try an all GL O and D in an effort to catch the other team off guard. Hope I can get promoted so I can give it a shot!

That bug has been in this game since I can remember. It's as if there is no "forward progress" for ball carriers. The ball isn't spotted at the forward progress point, it's spotted where the ball carrier ends up. Normally you can go through a game without really noticing it but sometimes examples like that (where the ball carrier gets noticeably pushed back) pop up and it's really obvious.

How to build a balanced offensive line

Step 1: Pour your SP into run block tech and other run skills. Invest modestly into pass blocking.
Step 2: Dominate in the run game.
Step 3: Start passing the ball.

There you have it.
