Being a man up is cancelled out if a WR cannot hold his block and/or if the HB cannot shake a tackle. Thus, I think while zone is initially weak to overload, I do not think it is necessarily a fatal flaw. I know GE has already shown his run defense is effective even when I overload a zone, and my team even has... abnormally good run blocking.

32 Revcakes is only 1 per game. He might have 75+ Hold Ground, but if you're not getting more revcakes than you aren't offsetting the blocker advantage.

You don't have to revcake to shed the block and step around the blocker...

hmm, so my hybrid team against 3wr trips, only 11 plays were man D, which gave up the most yards btw... 84 attempts, 3.5 yards per carry

23 weak side runs averaged 4.65 per run... these were my zone plays only. Ill give you big I sweep left, the rest were not as effective from a quick glance.. zone plays only.

My only disclaimer is this team was built in a rush with little planning and 1 season in vet.

It's a fun tier to be in. It's all about matchups, some teams matchup better than others and it's really cool to see such a variety of tactics being tried and tested with the class of S53!
