Under the current system, you are right. Maybe these changes are meant to change the system? Something that would make the game better all around.

The new system wouldn't affect that in the slightest.

Why should I have to start 100% over. I play by the RULES THEY SET and now I am getting penalized for it. How on earth can that seem fair to you. This games want to be more like real football right? Well when the lions have to rebuild they dont say "Sorry guys you need a new stadium and we are taking away all you r money."

by the time that cash will mean anything to the teams that demoted this offseason...equipment will be the teams and the money will just be extra morale and fun time from the sounds of it...

Some thoughts:

1. Something had to be done because there is too much money in the GLB economy, and teams dropping down with full stadiums are a big problem

2. An issue with this particular fix is that it gives another huge advanatage to entrenched tems that have already taken advantage of such tactics

3. The in-game money causes far more trouble than it is worth. It adds nothing but headaches in its current form

4. Was a system that would create more parity, such as a salary cap system considered? It has successfully created parity in real sports. If we give the players a reason to desire money, I think it could be the most effective system.

people don't seem to get that

working with these changes to make money for teams isn't that hard and isn't the issue - but people cannot seem to get past that from the admins on down

Yet, a few backwards individuals keep posting "IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN". No logic to back up their point, no attempt to even debate it.....just a flat our rejection of the idea. That, more than anything, convinces me it is the right course for GLB to take.

EXACTLY. no explanation and avoidance of question = no balls imo

How come everyone used to complain "all the rule changes only favor guys who have been around longer. we need more parity and help the new users" and now that all those people are changing their tune saying that the people who have been around longest deserve a large advantage over new people for no reason other than they go there first

Also, are people really not able to see beyond their own network of teams and see what's best for GLB as a whole going towards the future? What all of GLB looks like in season 20 is much more important than a few teams who gamed the system or have just been around for a long time and now want to keep their advantage. People should think about it from a glb standpoint instead of "me me me"

why should he have to start over? He has done a lot to keep his team since season 1..... why should he have to be on equal footing with someone who has spent there first 400 flex to start a brand new team....

brand new teams should not equal teams that have been around for seasons.... fix the gut/cash cow cheater issue and leave the rest alone...

The Lions don't drop out of the NFL and begin the process of working their way back up by first playing a season of junior-high football, then high school ball, then several seasons of college ball. The Lions STAY IN THEIR CURRENT LEAGUE and attempt to retool--and do so with (allegedly) a league-appropriate roster.
