This is an interesting idea. When I listed the "picks to date" would I list their pick? And then once the games simmed they would lose for selecting an invalid pick? Or would I just continue listing them with "None"? I think listing them with "None" is a happy medium, although I'm likely to continue helping people out. It does surprise me when someone with a post containing all their picks makes the mistake.

Meh, whatever. It was nice early when people were still getting a feel for the rules. At this point it's so minor we may as well keep warning people. Now, going out of your way to PM someone and alert them to the pick is probably overkill, but a quick post that says "Nope, pick invalid because" is just fine.
Heck, I think I've warned a person or two as well.

Yeah, would list them as none. Change the title from 'picks to date' to "valid picks to date".
