The reason I'm not buying it is because it takes no time at all to change game tactics. Knowing how bored people are while waiting for games to sim, I have no doubt that tactics were changed specifically for that game.
So let's say (just for fun) that you have two teams going up against each other that are pretty much evenly matched. They play their scrim in 2 hours and one of them just faced a cupcake team. Do you seriously think that team would leave their cupcake game tactics in? No way. They are going to put their best foot forward because they want to see where they stand against good competition. Teams play scrims to get information on their weaknesses.
Different tactics work against different teams. The "best" tactics against one team is not the best against another. I do not know how long it takes you to set tactics but on My O alone I have 155 inputs, that outputs over 550 plays. so , personally I would not change anything, I do not have the time to chage all those setting that many times. Maybe you do , good for you.
That's what preset tactics are for. I don't know if you realized it or not but you can save different gameplans. We don't use 155 inputs per gameplan, but we have a decent amount. If your O has 155 inputs for one single gamplan then you have definitely gone overboard. There is such a thing as micromanaging too much.
I have 12 possible presets to choose from (thanks for the ground breaking tip though) ... Each one is ridiculous lol. Micromanaging is what got us up to this division. No reason to change it now
I spent about 22 hours to set up all the presets but, now I do not have to change anything but the % of plays called. In other words I spent way too much time to set this up but, now all the game are pretty easy to set up for.
