Not complaining, just pointing out that it's a little silly to pat yourself on the back for beating a team with an average level 5+ lower than yours.

Then again, level ~35 players playing in the bottom league is pretty lulzy to begin with, so I guess patting yourself on the back for winning is the least of what's wrong with the situation.

This is weak. I almost hope to play in this league again next year now.

Lobbins actually has higher than average mobility, and blames his receivers for not getting free.

The biggest thing you need is for your RG to dump mad points into speed/agility. He is far too slow to pick up the blitz. That is why your QB is getting pwned.

He got killed in one game where our Deep Pass settings were high, big deal.

and jcoker, I'm not complaining, but the fact that we were competitive for three quarters is kinda laughable.

Yeah, deep pass settings and a mismatch on the left side, that's why the sacks all came through. Who would have thought a 3+ level difference would result in some sacks?

Why is it laughable? If you put together the best team you can then you should expect to be able to beat anyone. I know everyone thinks that Grim is the best in Alpha but I assure you that if they make it past London that Amsterdam or Transylvania will make them earn it.

This isn't real football, there is no spirit or heart involved. There is, however, RNG, but I don't expect your players to fumble it every series (which would be necessary for us to win).

Our players started two seasons ago, most starters were Level 3 or worse. We have been improving but I don't expect any top-seed upsets after two seasons. So far I have been correct, I'll eat my crow when it actually happens (it won't).

I'm pretty sure at least of a third of our team was level 1 in our first season

Some teams have come up short 2 seasons in a row. If they started at level 13 made 14 boost to 17 in season one and ended at level 24 or 25 after boosts then next season were like 29 or 30 after boosts and then boosted for this season would be almost that level or close. I point this out because it is not like some just chose to play in the bottom league. In fact this league (until this season) was one of the most competitive in the top 8-10 (had a couple clear leaders) but fairly deep. Not sure what you are trying to accomplish with this line of conversaton but ah well!

Congrats Antwerp on the victory regardless how it was or wasnt a blow out!!!

Hey don't get me wrong they have a good team. But acting like beating a team 5 levels below them is a big deal is pretty dumb.

Yeah your point is? If it is an online game then why not try to play all aspects of the game like the rpg part maybe? Just ask Lobbins he will advise you on how to handle things! This is 'his' thread btw!

Lobbins thinks its not about the winning or losing, its about the perfect, arcing pass that makes the cheerleaders panties wet
