Snootch, I think you're missing the difference between a Running Qb and a QB that can run. Steve "Air" McNair was a good example of how good a QB that can run is for a team...
Honestly I forgot about Mcnair, and yes he was a good QB... more in the lines with Moon and Cunningham IMO though. Hs was rare in the fact that he again had the smarts to play the position. Too many "running" Qb's fail in that part of the game.
As for the bear beating hte odds and Indy. I give them props, but they won the only way they have since the 85 team, and even then it was about the same deal. Run...run... pas (incomlete) run.. first down... run (score if they can).
Def...hammer the other team, cause turnovers, St's make a play (will socre also)
Lather ...rinse.... repeat.
In the case of my Vikes we suffer worse right now that we can run.. but for whatever reason.. oh wait Chili is an idiot. We have a def that should be top 5-8, but still have no idea. The passing game is going to be hit or miss, and us faithful fans will have to hope that AP and Chester can find a way to pile the other 50+ guys on their shoulders.
