If you look at your team you will see, oh wait, you have built all your players yourself. Hmmm. Let's talk about a guy trying to take advantage of others. It is a lot easier to build a strong team, when you control everything and all your builds are put together by one guy.
I knew maybe 3 of our players before recruiting them to this team. I worked my butt off and probably sent over 1000 emails to put this squad together. I purposely tried not to recruit players from the same agent. Our forum had over 1500 posts last season because of it. That and we are just a bunch of fun active players.
Honestly, we have barely gameplanned this whole year. We're letting the game play itself. We spend more time right now hanging out and having fun, but we'll gameplan harder come playoffs.
In the game you refer too we didn't punt. That helped the other team out. Also, they put together a very good game plan. We know where we can be attacked and it won't happen come playoffs.
To be honest, I don't take this tournament overly serious. I care about seeing trophies on our team page!

Maybe more than people with teams that have few repeat agents. Can I add you as a GM in two years when we get trophies for your personal page? I'm glad to see that you aren't doing the porn thing anymore. Good move. I'm not a WOW guy so I don't know much there. I'm honestly not against anyone who would build a whole team, but I think it is way easier to win that way. You can make sure the whole team works together and is built well and has full custom equipment and keep chemistry high.
Lots of advantages. Boring forum, not many people to celebrate with, but lots of advantages. I own 3 players total and don't spend that much money on the game.

ummm....how is being level 28 and only rated 39 considered great? as high level as your team is you guys should dominate this tournament but you won't. I know you got a big head cuz you are playing a league with weaker teams...but being a bully and bragging how you beat weaker teams isn't anything close to great or good. for a team with so many high level players and the highest your team is rated is a 42? please...there is nothing impressive about that.
I have a team full of lvl 21s and i guarantee you won't be able to blow them out...heck, i bet they beat you soundly.

well put. i would take the hippos over the fire jerkies any day. specially after the whooping you put on venice. even considering the fire gms and owners did a fantastic recruiting job, i think the hippos proved that you dont need pro league level players to win once you get out of 'A' ball...good gameplanning, good builds, and good ownership go a LONG way in creating a team that can storm through not one but two levels of play...my guess is they wont play ya though...too scurrrred

yeah im not sure how the scheduling worked out this year, but we play 5 of the top 6 playoff teams from last season in our first 7 games (the other team moved up)...it seems to be that way for most of our league...its nice knowing in general where you fall by game 7 or 8 as far as playoffs go, but its much more exilerating to have to win your last couple to jostle up a spot or two come playoff time
either way i think the rankings kick ass regardless of where my team ends up...i know its a lot of work but it gets some of these rugrats something to talk shiznat about

you are making a very broad assumption that if you built all your players, you'd build them right. and if you knew how to use the greasemonkey script to add agents, you'd realize that there is another agent on the team. but it's a moot point, the number of agents is a competitive advantage but it's hardly the same thing as taking all my guys when they are lvl 28 and moving them into a newly formed league where the average level is 10 levels below my players'. so i don't see how you can say me building most of the players on my team as taking advantage of other people. not even close and i think 99% of the people would agree your argument here holds no water...nice try...hope you are bit wiser with running your business.
and like i said, i agreed it was good recruiting to bring in so many high level players and see nothing wrong with that...it's part of the game. but issue was seeing a lvl 28 talk trash to players who are lvl 21. that's where my bully comment came in...
