Before the inevitable arguments begin, I say well played Cork. All posturing aside, the game could've gone either way as we are pretty evenly matched.

I think we had the 'morale' advantage of the season schedule - we came in WLW and Cork (one game behind us in the cycle) came in LWL. That's life I guess.

See you next season for the next installment

PS I wish my DEs were as good as Dude Bigsly. He's got some big sack.

Damn...I guess your gut is a good one to trust. Once again, we come up just short over a far superior team on paper. Ugh.

Game 9 results.....

Ikk managed to kick the stuffing out of Glasgow. Turnovers killed the lions as the mutineers scored 20 points off turnovers.

The Sting Rays took apart the Spaniards and dont let the score fool you it wasnt even that close......3 picks, 3 sacks and 31 yards rushing.

bow street shut us down. we couldn't pass the ball and couldn't stop the run. good game bow street.

It was back and forth for The Argonauts and Stars......but in the end the stars were able to land the last punch. this was a great game. good job both teams.

limerick dragged the beers down 20 miles of bad road, putting up over 300 yards rushing.

Port St lucie took a 13 point lead into half time, things looked pretty good for them........until team lazy reeled off 4 unanswered touchdowns......

Sweden got turned inside out and upside down by Belfast. Belfast got 5 turnovers and only allowed 3 points.....

Belgrade scored the only touchdown of the game......unfortunately lyon kicked 4 field goals......good defense for both team.

so lets see i'm 6 and 2 this week and that brings me to 55 and 17.
dart is 3 and 5 on the week to bring his overall score to 30 and 42.

Thanks! Dude's a couple levels higher than your DE which does make a difference. You'll be a beast soon.

I am so proud of my defence, not least my own LB leading the charge (though is there any chance we can have that Bigsly guy? This game seems so harsh on the pass rush and then you see him...he's only a half sack shy of the NFL record, after 9 games!).

1-1. See you next season Wildcats.

1-1 sounded better for the rivalry.
(nothing to do with my horrendously poor memory. Oh no. What day is it? who are you? who am I?)

GLB season 5: the Wildcats strike back?

Great point! Wasn't my preferred outcome, but what a rivalry!

well i missed game ten! sorry guys. my normal time to do this in the evening was sapped by life coming up and smacking me around a bit. but now i'm back......with a slight twist to the dart board. someone from zeta said, to paraphrase "good stuff storm, wish you did zeta". so ok i'll give it a shot. I know nothing about your conference, but, I guess I'll learn as I go.

By the way you guys say whatever you want in here. if that doesn't sit well with you, if you simply have to have the abundance of thought provoking information and humor i try to provide, the only thing i can say is........tough titty......lets get to it.

week 11

Belfast the lone undefeated team gets Glasgow at home......a run stopping defense against a team whose only advantage numbers wise is in rushing.....i think judging by how glasgow has done against 2 teams belfast has already beaten (ikk and Marseille), i gotta go with the Commandos
Storms pick Belfast
dats pick- marseille

Coming off a huge win against South Yorkshire, Ikk gets limerick, Ikk has an advantage in most offensive categories.....theyve been able to manhandle some pretty good teams and have decimated the mid and lower teams in the conference.....if they limit their turnovers they should roll.
Storms pick Ikk Fu
darts pick Vikings

South yorkshire coming off a heart breaker, In which they get that one (1) in the loss column, they'll be looking for a Brock Lesner like beat down on lyon. lyon coming off a heart breaker of their own, have their backs against a wall. actually they're between a hard place and a harder place (forget the rock). On paper this isnt close but luckily they're going to play this one in a computer program not on paper.
Storms pick- Stars
Darts pick stars

Waffles and beer this week for Southriding who are on a roll. cue the buckets of blood.....
Storms pick Rays
Darts pick Beers

Marseille gets to end their mini losing streak as PSL comes to town.
Storms pick Argonauts in a boat race
Darts pick Argo's

Bow street got on a roll the lazytowners are coming off a win but i dont think they can stop the run well enough to stand up to the runners.
storms pick the Runners
darts pick Team Lazy

Cork city gets to try for a win streak against the Spaniards......I dont think their defense can stand up......but that's assuming ours will.....
Storms pick- guess
Darts pick Cork city

Sweden versus Belgrade......belgrade has been able to put points on the board even against vastly superior teams they lost to. army has had a ton of problems putting the ball in the end zone. this may be going out on limb but......
Storms pick- belgrade
Darts pick Army

ok zeta here it comes.......

1 versus 2 as London takes on Tatanka tatanka (thats Sioux) London should control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. that usually wins games.
Storms pick Rippers
darts pick London

Dublins strength goes right into Kolns weakness thats never good for the team on the negative side of the numbers.
Storms pick- Dublin
Datrs pick- koln

Rome should be able to stop the guys who are squatting in their city, again same as above Rome's strength hits Vaticans soft under belly.
Storms pick Rome
dart pick Vatican

Looks like phoenix is in desperate need of win which they wont get this week. tranmere is too tough in almost all categories.

the lunatics against the Sidhe.....wel this is the exact opposite of the matchups above. these teams biggest strengths are opposed by the strengths of the other team. should make an interesting game.
Storms pick lunatics
darts pick- Kilkenny

munich versus the dogs.....
Storms pick dogs in a coin flip
Dart picks munich

nola should take leeds apart at the seems
storms pick nola
darts pick nola

Athens v dublin........hope athens wasnt planning to run the ball.......
storms pick dublin
darts pick athens

there it is good luck gents

Storm with little knowledge you seem to have immediately picked up on the stronger teams in Zeta. Dart could struggle to pick up points with his current selections!
