He is the the worse owner in the league. Despite the talent he has right now I am sure he will find a way to screw it up and completely demoralize his own team.
Once the players on his team who are not owned by him realize what a jack ass is we will see a major revolt and tail spin the likes of which has never been seen.

I will say this for flounder...
He did do a hell of a job recruiting. I guess you have to give credit where credit is due. I am interested to see if he can sell enough tickets to keep his team out of the red from day to day, because if he doesn't then the recruiting and winning thing won't amount to shit if he gets his team yanked by the league.

He'll make around $7 million from ticket sales ($5.5 if has a loan), so he should be OK. Level 24 equipment could be a problem though.
There are a lot of strong teams in this league though. Everyone did a nice job recruiting and Alpha is going to be a bear to get through.

I really can't wait for the season to begin.
The cream of the crop in this division is going to be Lost City, Fobidden City, and Mekong...which means that the battle for that 4th playoff spot is going to be fun to watch.
Beyond that, there are 11 teams total in our division that could make a solid push for the playoffs...3 of them are pretty much a lock, the other 8 are fairly even as far as talent level goes.
My official preseason predictions for Alpha, playoff locks in bold.
1.) Lost City
2.) Fobidden City
3.) Mekong assuming the finances work out
4.) Oklahoma Steelers
5.) Winona Warriors
6.) Stucknut Triceratops\
7.) Phenom Penh Warriors
8.) Mandalay king Cobras
9.) Phuket Vandals
10.) Macau Craits
11.) Taipei Pirate Hookers
12-16.) also rans...Oakland, Golden Hill, Gobi, Chappell Island, Tokyo
I feel good about my top 5, but 6-11 are a complete toss up...I may be off, but what preseason predictions aren't?

I think that Winona is a little low on that list. I'm not trying to start a war or anything, but I have us at 3 or 4 at the worst.
Mekong will be fine financially, unless they really mess things up. I have to give them credit for bringing in high level guys.
The thing that I see as a problem for both Mekong and Oklahoma is their chemistry. I know it will go up as the year goes on, but they're going to play down to their competition for the first half of the season.
I look forward to season 4 though and I'm glad to be in SEA #4.
Also, we're not done signing people.

Seven million seems high to me with just an endzone section in his stadium. they probably don't have great fan support with last years one and done season, nothing spectactular.

You can also take off the 800k that he is already in the hole, and IF he gets 7 million it pretty much guarantees that he blew most of his ticket sales wad with season ticket sales, leaving not much revenue to be gained from ticket sales through the balance of the season.
This would leave him with about 4 million + concessions for daily salaries and to bonus players for equipment upgrades...and that is IF he gets 7 million. Last time I checked he hadn't max'd out the sideline seats, so 7 million does seem awfully high.
I'm not saying that climbing out of that hole is impossibe, I am just saying that I will be impressed if he can do it while keeping his talent pool (which is pretty shallow) in tact.
Edit - he hasn't finished his sideline sections and he is now 900k+ in the hole.

I agree, I'll be very impressed if he can manage this. The problem I think would be that you never develope your stadium and never get the big payday renevue wise. He has a VERY good team for this year, but if he has to start selling off players, he'll take a big chemistry hit too. I'm very interested to see what happens there.

His chemistry is already in the shitter offensively/overall and he still has 9 or so trades pending. Chemistry build back so slow, so his first half of the season should be interesting. I kinda wish we had him way earlier in the schedule.

His stadium is a joke and just isn't big enough to support what he has going on.
however don't worry he will continue to sell off his lower players to unsuspecting owners that can he screw over later.
What a classy guy.

Manila Fishermen will sneak up on teams next season. We made the playoffs last year and have gotten WAY better
