Also, if we are able to reach the soft cap on our targeted main skill, in this case strength, do you want us to go ahead with that and start training on something else? I mean with just customized equipment, normal equipment, and skill points I could get his strength to 49 and blocking to 32 or so and than start training on either vision or stamina, most likely stamina.Well, here's the idea in a nutshell.
hit the first softcap, while daily training the next attribute.
All equip will get stacked to 1 stat. So, for most, that's going to mean speed.
For example, our corners "should" all, at some point, have 60+ speed. Meaning, 48 at the first softcap, then 4+4+4 on equipment, and if people buy custom, +6 more for a total of 66+ (after level 16).
Our defense is going to be built around speed. And if we get enough people, we shouldn't have to worry too much about stamina (we'll have enough depth to cover stamina issues).
Initially, my hope is this:
Everyone hits 1st soft cap at L4 (or within 2 points).
L5 and L6 go into stamina (so +8 at least, +10 for some positions).
L7 - L12 should then cap out the 2nd attribute we will work on.
then L13-14 will go into stamina (another +10)
Rinse and repeat.
That's why it's important to put no SA's into anything until we start getting players into the high teens. My hope is that we build up 3 base attributes each, to softcap, so we can take full advantage of the level bonus's. Then, we can start looking at SA's depending on position.
To answer your ? Corona, yes. If you can drop you 30 points and cap your first skill, do it and start daily training the 2nd skill. The difference is negligable either way, so go ahead and do it.
Just don't buy equipment yet. I want to make sure that we do this in a uniform manner, so that there is no mistakes and needing to re-do equip at some point down the road.
edit: Also, in your case, as a G, your 2nd attribute is going to be blocking. So dump your points into strength until 48, leftovers go to blocking. Start daily training agility.
