I see it a bit differently. There's a difference between a typo and using the wrong word. Most typos and spelling errors (but not all, heh!) I usually chalk up to carelessness. But using the wrong version of the word is typically ignorance.
Typically, I do agree. But many times it is also general carelessness. I seem to be on the side of belief that these gentlemen here are not uneducated enough to not know the proper uses of your and you're, but simply do not care to take the time to differentiate between the two options.
