Its also a matter of principle and game enjoyment. I have ONE account. I don't want to have my dots line up against a "free" dot that is on the field because somebody who QUIT the game 10 years ago gave his password to somebody else who ALSO has an account and 4 free dots. That's not right, and its not fair to the random new guy who signs up.



You both made a lot of sense. I always thought keeping accounts going from friends and ex teammates was a good way to help keep the game going but I've been convinced is wrong. I deleted everything but too expensive to start again from Canada so Back to NCAA lol

While patching the exploit is obviously good, the account bans are kinda pointless if they have multis or just make another account no?

1) All the flex invested in those accounts is not accessible.
2) And once you purchase flex on the new account, you will see based on the payment information that it might be the same person as the banned user, unless you have within yourself 10 different personalities with 10 different names including 10 different credits cards

This seems more likely than not for the kind of person who would cheat in a game like this.

No dot is fully free if they are fully upgraded to not suck. If you got 10 accounts with 3 "free" players on them, you still have to buy flex to upgrade their CE.

Is this the multi account talking point? "We're not total free loaders, we have to buy custom equipment!" Lets pretend the accounts have 0 flex when a person takes it over. Having 30 players for the price of 5 is still a huge disadvantage for those who follow the rules.

But, lets be real, most people are using flex purchased by the real agent and then ditching the account when it's dry.

I'm not arguing for anything just saying the players aren't totally free.

How exactly does that disadvantage anyone when anyone can do it if they like. Bort has pretty much shown he does not care.

In your scenario, if they didn't have the 30 accounts then they would probably only build the 5 and then Bort loses out on the money they spend for CE. Which is why he doesn't care.

This is what happens when a company is ran by dumb people. Remove it out of the terms of service if it's allowed now! This here say of bort "pretty much" allowing it and it being in the terms of service is very contradicting. Does someone have a link where Bort is saying it's okay to have 5 - 10 accounts now?

Even if its allowed, in the end is all about revenue in. The people who use multis will eventually shut this game down when it loses enough support. It won't be the paying customers, I can promise you that.

Kind of looks like I'm in the minority but I don't have a problem with multis. The way I view it is the more the merrier. There isn't a tactical advantage over a paid dot. Just costs less. It really only hurts Bort's pockets and if he is ok with that then why should we care?

I see it differently. The multis were based on the same person intentionally setting up multiple accounts to farm free referral flex and free dots.

What we have now are legitimate accounts previously created by individuals who have given their account information to someone else to manage. That's not a multi in the spirit the rule was made to prevent. A previous legitimate account with paid for flex that is being managed by someone else just isn't the same as the same individual creating 10 accounts to get the free players and the flex referral bonuses.

If folks see these as the same, then so be it. Personally, I'm glad the accounts are being used/ dots being built because the only other option is lol CPU dots; less drama, more dots.
