GG West! You claimed all of it out there. Was exciting the first half I thought. Play makers all over your roster.

Road to the Vampire Cup
The black-and-crimson pennants, flags and streamers fluttered in the cool morning airs that swirled high above Frank Clair Stadium as the sun dawned over the capital. The grounds crew had been hard at work all night, preparing the hallowed grounds to host its first-ever championship game.
The newly expanded seating in this newly constructed facility had all been installed, and the updated concessions stands and merchandise stores were slowly coming to life, preparing to host and entertain the throngs of dotball fans and enthusiasts - and those who were just curious to see what all the fuss was about - as they descended on the capital for the big game.
Far below the pennants and flags, deep within the bowels of the stadium, the coaching staff had sequestered themselves away for days, poring over hours of game film in slow motion replay looking for weaknesses in their upcoming opponents. The staff had been subsisting on coffee, donuts and tim-bits for days now - ever since their squad's unlikely win over the heavily-favoured Crocodiles. As exhilirating as that victory was, they knew the road to the Vampire Cup would only get harder.
Not far away, in Frank Clair's conditioning facilities, the dots themselves greeted this new, crisp morning by preparing in their own fashion - steam rooms, cold plunges, free weights, treadmills - Frank Clair was a new stadium, and had all the latest gear and equipment. They knew that if they were going to go on to win it all, there could be nothing left on the field, come the final whistle.
Later that day, in both the offense and defense projection rooms, the Capital Ravens went to work, reviewing the previous games played by the soon-to-be visiting Black Sea Squadron.
The Squadron was what one might call a 'sleeper team' - always competitive throughout the regular season, without ever calling undue attention upon themselves. The previous season, they'd gone 11-4-and-1, finishing 3rd in their conference, just behind the Ravens, who would host them in the first round of the playoffs. The Ravens had beaten the Squadron both times they'd met that season, but that wouldn't stop Black Sea from upsetting their hosts in the first round, defeating the Capital 20-13 in a closely-fought contest that would only be decided in the final quarter. The Squadron went on to beat the Crocodiles in the Conference Final before ultimately losing to the surly Goats in the Vampire Cup.
This season, as the Ravens were now discovering as they went about studying their upcoming opponents, the 'sleeper' persona remained, as the Squadron continued to fly under the radar. Black Sea ranked just 10th in passing yards; 4th in completion percentage; 5th in rushing yards; 4th in yards-per-carry; 8th in yards-after-catch; and 5th in fewest dropped passes. All very respectable, but not much that stood out. Their pass protection was good - their offensive line had allowed the 2nd fewest hurries and the 2nd fewest sacks all season, and that unit ranked 2nd in the league for pancakes. They were a mean crew, and they meant business.
On the defensive side of the ball, things looked similar. The Squadron was 6th in the league for passing yards allowed; 7th for pass deflections; and 4th for interceptions. Their pass rush was respectable, ranking 8th in the league for hurries and 6th in the league for sacks. On the ground, Black Sea ranked just 4th in the league for rushing yards allowed, but they could hit - the Squadron was 3rd in the league in forced fumbles.
All in all, Black Sea finished their regular season ranked 6th in the league for points-scored, and 7th for points-allowed. Against this, the Ravens were aware that they, themselves, ranked 2nd in the Vampire League for points-scored, and 4th for points-allowed. But they were also aware that none of the above mattered a damn. It was what happened on the field the next day that mattered.
And so, they studied...

Great Write Up Ravenwood!
Good Game Ravons!
We like being the underdog and expect it. We are a new squad from Casual trying our luck amongst the "big boys".
So far so good imo
Enjoy the offseason everyone. Next season should be even better than this one!
