Nope...changes were awesome. Hasn't effected my teams defense much. Oh, maybe that is because we run zone and have always valued footwork on our defenses

Play action is not OP. It is a high risk, high reward play. You can easily get sacked for a huge loss if the defense is blitzing.

Play action, I absolutely killed their rushing game. There is no reason my CB should of bit so hard, none! Free TD. Play action should not be working if the running game isn't effective.

What is his pursuit?

So you might be able to gain 100 yards against me now?

Basically, you shouldn't be able to build dominating RBs with low Balance. So now you'll need high Balance which will take away from Conditioning, Power Rushing, Sprinting. I'm fine with that concept. Let's wait until the builds get made to see what other changes are needed.

So you take away from the only things that makes HBs effective and that's good? In our last trip though vet if you were not running at least a 4.3 with 49+ power that HB was not going to be any kind of real threat and I could key on the pass. 100 grip is not going to be anywhere near enough for 80 balance HBs, obviously power backs are going to be nothing but a distant memory soon.

They took a vibrant sim where you could run many different styles of offenses and defenses and wrecked it. All run, all pass, lean run, lean pass, heavy screen teams were all a challenge. Now it's all heavy pass lean to all pass and it's boring.

They need to make a GLB2 basketball game, the hype could help out glb itself.

Yep, the issue just seems that what ever causes a player to be "off-balance" is firing way too often. And when they're "off-balance" they stumble around the field like they're drunk and pass out.

I'm loving the pathing, loving the better OL/DL play, but the deceleration effect has to be addressed. If a RB breaks a tackle...then I could see them being off-balanced, makes perfect sense in that situation. But not untouched running out of the backfield.

Your post got down voted because it should have been.

Previously, Balance was bugged in that it was enhancing Balance Checks thus enabling 15 Balance Power HBs. That clearly had to be fixed.

I have no problem with having dots invest in Balance. And yes it will hurt investment in other areas for the Power HBs.

But, and here's the part your are not factoring in enough in my view:

They nerfed Power Rushing a lot of ways over the past 10 seasons. A LOT of those changes can now be scaled down or even eliminated.

You're acting like they don't ever fix anything. S30 is a month away.

Have some patience.

High balance on a slow power back is a recipe for fumbles. Very high balance on a power back makes them not an option at all. I don't like the the limitations we are getting over the whole spectrum.

In a few seasons at this rate all we will be seeing is exploited passes and elusive HBs with little to no running on offense.

I have been patient. We have not gone over our final build balance on our players unlike many teams that are totally freaking out. I am waiting to see if they have anymore surprises they are going to spring on us next season.

I'm using that PUP to try to find out the threshold where a HB doesn't stumble around untouched out of the backfield. Balance is starting to get expensive at 55 and clearly is not close yet, although he is no longer falling down.

The deceleration needs adjusted as is off-balance firing a little too often, I'm in total agreement here. Been testing in J-Man with 50'ish balance and still seeing a little too many quirks.

Also, CB's need some of their skills cheaper I'd think to adjust for the points now being even further spread out. I'm ok with them having to spend points into balance, but they should not be abused as bad as current.

I think 50 balance should be adequate to get a decent performance out of both HB & CB, IMO.

The thing with CBs is what do you take away to get that 80 balance? They already had too much on their plate.

50 balance is reasonable for most. If you want a counter back or screen WR or something than I could see needed a ton of balance, but not just to run a relatively straight line. CBs probably have it the worst because they have to do a 180 covering a lightning fast WR who is just running a straight line.

Down 6 with 7 minutes left. My offense's morale is pretty high.

Skeletor is darting down the LOS until he tries to turn the corner then comes to a crawl. I'm guessing this is balance? He has 50 right now. How much damn balance does a HB need?
