Anchorage Colonels vs Vape Nation FootballMcLovinCowboys and his Vape Nation is a new Vet team and is bringing a crap load of S* with them. They just added a S* TE, which makes 11 total and also makes Vape the favorite to win Alpha. Anchorage is all CPU so easy victory for Vape. Look for Rashard Robinson V to get his MVP quest off the ground in a solid fashion.
Offense/Defensive MVP Candidates:
Anchorage: N/A
Vape: Rashard Robinson V HB and Uriah Gee SSNorthland Reavers vs ABC The FamilyABC is still kicking? Wow...impressive given how bad they are. A team with 1 S* and a few CPUs. They will beat the CPU teams but lose to everybody else. Northland has been the most impressive team in this tier. A newb owner in Aelle, he has done a remarkable job with several upsets throughout the seasons. His lack of S* in key positions is starting to catch up with him. He has 5 but 2 are DTs. He will have a few upsets this season but I don't look for him to contend for the title. Magnus Harald is a great SS but he can only do so much. Too many great teams in this league. Northland will go as far as Fabio Pistolero will take them. This guy is a beast. One of the few HBs the 80s have had trouble with over the seasons. They will however take care of ABC easily.
Offense/Defensive MVP Candidate:
Northland: Fabio Pistolero HB and Magnus Harald SS
ABC: Stefon Gould HB and Jelani Jenkins LBBeta
Detroit Vikings vs Galactic Empire of the 80sOne of two huge, impactful games this week. Both Detroit and 80s think they will win the division and they both have a shot. Beta is probably the toughest division in all of Vet. Detroit is returning to Vet and hopes to have a better closing to the season. Last year, Detroit climbed up to #1 in the ladder before tumbling late and having a rough end to the season. They have added a few players including a S* TE to add fire power to the offense. Hype is looking to take home the MVP of the league. 80s and The Galactic Empire are entering Vet for the 1st time...ever. GE claims to stay in Vet for 1000 seasons. His feeder team Korriban Academy will continue to fuel his team. But what can he do in his first game and first season in Vet? If the 80s defense can keep up the dominance they had in Pro and Drago can put the offense (and other team's defense) on his back, 80s can go a long way. This will be a game of HBs as both Drago and Hype are MVP candidates. The game will be close and in the 4th quarter, Drago will break lose and score a couple of TDs to bring home the victory to the 80s.
Offense/Defensive MVP Candidates:
Detroit: Hype HB and Eva Longoria LB
80s: Drago HB and Evil Hordak LBLos Angeles Outlaws vs Orlando ParrotsOrlando is another CPU team. The Outlaws, however, are a team who can definitely have a say in not only Beta but the entire league. They ended up 4th in Pro ladder last season so I wouldn't sleep on them. They have a solid staff and a shit ton of S*....like 12 of them.

Outlaws will easily win this week but need to get ready for 80s next week. Look for Tiki Barber to have a huge game and pad his stats while Rick Deckard will try to get a pick or 2.
Offense/Defensive MVP Candidate:
Outlaws: Tiki Barber HB and Rick Deckard CB
Orlando: N/AGamma
Los Angeles Pain vs Blood, Sweat & BeersThe second huge game in Black Mamba with playoff implications. Pain just made it to Vet while BSB is a Vet team in the Vet tier. Pain brings a potent offense but a susceptible defense. They have S* at the HB, TE and WR positions so they will score some points. However they only have a S* DT on defense. They ended last season losing 3 of their last 5 after starting the season 13-2. BSB has been around for a while and they have one of the most experienced coaching staff in GLB2. Legends galore...

The defense has 8 freaking S* and they are good positions too. Pain's offense vs BSB defense will be interesting to watch with The Iron Sausage leading the BSB defense. However, this will come down to BSB offense vs Pain's defense. I don't see Pain stopping BSB offense, especially after adding Thank God They Added Snow, another S* WR. BSB will be giving out the pain in this opener and put BSB in the drivers seat in Gamma.
Offense/Defensive MVP Candidate:
Los Angeles Pain: Alucky HB HB and Wyatt Justice LB
Blood, Sweat & Beers: Dario Cueto QB and The Iron Sausage LBFury vs Seattle Billy GoatsAnother CPU vs Human game. Seattle....CPU. But Fury is one of the best teams in this tier. Not only are they the defending Black Mamba champs, but they also have the defending Offensive and Defensive MVP. This staff is loaded with GLB Legends too and have a solid roster. Only 8 S* but they can put up some serious points. This will be an easy victory so Fury HB and Erza need to pad the stats this week. Next week will get much tougher when they will take on BSB.
Offense/Defensive MVP Candidate:
Fury: Fury HB HB (last seasons O MVP) and Erza Bridger LB (last seasons D MVP)
Seattle: N/A
