Found my new defense. This game was closer than the score. Stamina and untimely turnovers killed me. I really screwed up my guys conditioning this run.

Ok then lets not mention the 9.5 AVG per carry then. Dont want you to reset before you hit Sophomore.

lol...That is better than most teams do against them. Plus I already stated the my players' conditioning will be much higher.

What do you cats usually get stamina up to in rookie? My guys have a crap load to cap this dynasty.

You should end Rookie with 50 Stam pretty much across the board.

DLine should target 50+ BRB (PRT for the Pass Rush specialist). LBs/SS/FS get Sprinting, Run/Combo CBs should get to 50 BRB for the outside runs with Cover CBs at Man Aware & Deflection of 50.

OLine should get RBT to 50, HBs Sprinting, WRs&TEs Rec Hands 50 then CiT 50.

Basically that's how you build for Rookie.

Since plenty of people don't listen to this, teams that do should get a Top 5 Ladder trophy.

That's basically what I did with elements but far less on the pass defense skills. Don't need much of anything to defend pass but decent play calling, SIM does enough to shut passing down in rook

You left out pursuit.

No, I didn't. That comes later. Get fast first. Pursuit is nice with Closing Speed, but that's only Bronze in Rookie.

You need to stop listening to yourself. Certainly, others shouldn't listen to you. When you have more Ladder trophies than me, then you can have the floor.

LBs should get Sprinting. Run LBs should get some BRB with Cover LBs some Man Aware/Deflection. A Pure MLB can get some Power Tackling so you can use him at the RO spot in a 4-4 Formation for ZEB (your normal RO Blitzer for Over Will should be at the LOLB spot in 4-4 for using ZEB - the RBs fade to the weak side for blocking in 2TE and 2WR so the unimpeded route to the QB is from the LO.) You don't need a lot of Power Tackling in Rookie to create QB fumbles.
