I think its going to help those that run the lurk plays and a bit of a mix rather than pure Zone, as it still seems to get picked apart at times

Oh and if this buffed Zone AFTER those scrims, DD is going to destroy most Passing teams.


Even if that's the case - I would still want to see it in actual competitive games. IF zone is overpowered for a season - so what? They've gone through 12 seasons of shitty zone play already so I think we'll all survive if it's a little strong prior to a S14 fix.

Seems less likely that defenders in under zones get pulled way out of position. It can still happen, but should be less likely.

This makes robbers/lurks seem pretty nice, but some of the double Lurk drops were only useful when the defenders got pulled away. Those drops were way too shallow. We'll find out.

On the other hand, I wonder if pump fake SA on QB's is going to be a necessity if you want to run certain offensive plays.

I think the Quick Feet trait should be a strong consideration for building a CB now.

Not sure if it did or not but if it fixes some broken defensive plays (a big "if") then it would be like adding new plays IMO. There are a ridiculous amount of plays in the PBs. If more become decent it is better than just adding more plays that may or may not be broken themselves. Time will tell though I suppose.

Agreed - need to stop adding plays until we fix existing plays. Makes it harder for new players as they will likely run some of these "bugged" plays.

They may sound boring, but they might actually bring more excitement to games. Then again, the most "boring" thing they could have done was fix DE ghosting and they didn't.

This is the balancing act. Improve Defensive performance against the Pass and then see where Passing O is. Then see if fixing a bunch of Passing O plays is the next step (it probably is).

I think the changes are good.

Only thing missing are: DE Ghosting and Fixing/Removing Chemistry
