clearly, I know you guys are good

Consistency is an big issue with you guys though, while MeM, DA, and Madison typically bring it every game... Hard to take you guys seriously when you lose by 51 to GA and 38 to Mercy. We've only lost one game by double-digits in 3 1/2 months. You may not even make the playoffs with another loss to Jarvis Street. So if I was a betting man, I'd pick the three over you, sorry. I'd probably pick likelyhood of Hydrogen Championship in order at 1. MeM (easiest path), 2a. DA, 2b. Madison, then 4. Whoville.

Gonna assume Jarvis doesn't take down Madison or MEM so I think Whoville is safe. Granted crazier things have happened this season so far.

Raiders beat Bad Meets Evil, picking them off twice in the end zone in the process.. haven't seen that happen before.

Haven't watched game yet as I'm on vacation, but that sounds crazy. Game could have really significant implications on playoffs too.

Yeah, at this point with Richmond a game up w/out any real opponents left beside Southside, and BME still playing Southside and Hub City, they're probably in the wild card spot at least. Best chance for BME is to beat SS and Hub City (not likely) and hope Richmond drops their last game. Then it comes down to the tiebreaker.

Don't tiebreakers include H2H record first? Or no?

a lot of low scoring games this season among the top vet teams (richmond today, us against whoville a few days ago, MeM quite a few games, ditto with HCH, whoville most of the season) ... either defenses have got much better (and/or gameplanning - I think I'm a better DC that I was 3 seasons ago), or the O nerfs/D Buffs have started to really affect the scores this season.

it's a lot more rare to see a high scoring barn-burner with the last team to have the ball winning, like a few seasons ago.

Low scoring games seem to be causing more upsets that usual I'd say, where a turnover here or there or a big play has much more impact in a close game.

Well MEMs low scoring games have more to do with the fact that we're run oriented and it's not too difficult to hold our offense to some degree with a D who can tackle well across the board. Only reason we were the last undefeated team in vet was because our defense has been nothing short of great this season.

low scoring games are a result of running being really shitty right now. Tough to put up points against competent defenses without passing.

Must be why 3 of the top 5 plays right now are Ground Assault scoring long running TDs against competent defenses.

long TDs are about the only way to score as an all-running team right now. Check out Hub vs LogZilla. Held to a FG until we had a random breakaway TD out of 3WR Trips.

Running can get you a TD every now and then but it isn't a reliable way of moving the chains anymore. Too much chance to be stopped short.

If you ask me 5-2 Cat Blitz is as OP as GL QB Rollout was in it's heyday. You can't run strong side or inside the tackles against it. You have to choose one of the 5 working weakside rushes and they aren't even very reliable.

Weird, three of the top five teams are rushing teams.
